Foits Kapnistos

Peter Fotis Kapnistos is an American journalist, editor, and publisher now residing in the Eastern Mediterranean islands. After a career in fashion and advertising photography, Peter turned to journalism. He was editor for the "Athens News," Greece's oldest English-language daily newspaper. In cooperation with the Associated Press and Apple computers, he later oversaw the production of "Greece Today," one of the first direct online English-language desktop-published tabloids in the Near East. Peter helped to introduce public access to the Internet in the eastern Aegean islands by establishing a number of Internet Cafes there. He currently writes code for various websites and lives in the Patmos group of islands.
