Chetwynd the weather is starting to get nicer The sun is shining just in time for the month of May which is the kick off for tourism season. The campgrounds are starting to open on the May long weekend. The hiking trails are starting to get used more, as the snow and ice is melting. People of the community are out and about, enjoying the beautiful weather. June 6 to 9 Chetwynd is having its 9th International Chainsaw Carving Championship. This Event brings people from all over the world to Chetwynd to carve as well as to watch the amazing event.
