Jeep Heritage Festival celebrates 75th anniversary of the original Jeep vehicle The 2015 Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is celebrating the 75th birthday of the world’s original Jeep during its fifth annual event to be held from Friday, June 12 to Sunday, June 14. The event’s planners are calling all Jeep owners to register for the festival’s Guinness World Records
Jeep Parade on Friday, June 12; the parade will begin at 2:30 p.m. On April 26, a Jeep event in Daytona Beach, Florida beat the nationwide festival’s previous record of 1,106 that was set in 2011. Perhaps Butler County will break that record this year. Any Jeep model or year can participate. On-site registration will take place from
10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at South Butler Township Fire Hall, located at 98 Old Plank Road. Your Jeep’s VIN number is required to register. The $15 fee includes a commemorative dash plaque, downloadable photo of each participating Jeep and a commemorative gift. Continued on page 3
