The College Park Aviation Museum offers a variety of tours for groups — whether you are looking to book a school field trip or an outing for a Senior Center or a Youth Group — we have something to offer. Our educational tours utilize our permanent exhibits as well as hands-on activities and interactives to excite participants about the history and science of flight. For school groups, tours are designed to address gradeappropriate Common Core and Maryland educational standards and can be modified to accommodate a wide range of learning abilities. Call the museum for pricing for school and adult groups or visit www.CollegeParkAviationMuseum.com. The Museum also offers a wide range of outreach activities and lectures that we can travel to your location. For more information, contact Amanda Elliott, Education & Interpretation Manager, at 301-864-5312 or email her at Amanda.Elliott@PGParks.com.
Meet Our Staff Laura Baker is the new Collections Curator. Laura interned for a small historical society in Athens, Ohio after graduating from Ohio University in 2015 with a B.S in History. There she fell in love with museums and moved to D.C. in pursuit of a career in the museum field. Over the past few years, Laura has worked at the National Museum of American History, at the National Archives as a Special Events Volunteer, and at College Park Aviation Museum as a Museum Educator. As an Educator, Laura connected our visitors with the science and history of flight through guided tours and interactive programming, created new programs and activities for children, and aided in updating of the museum’s “Flight School.” In her free time, she enjoys being active through dancing, yoga, hiking, and checking out the new exhibits in town.
