Do you know that people have lived in Prince George’s County for more than 13,000 years? Learn about ancient and modern history during a trail walk led by experts at Patuxent River Park. More than 75 archaeological sites have been discovered in this area, including Indigenous villages, colonial port towns, shipwrecks, and plantations with large populations of enslaved laborers. Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes was one of the most popular Philadelphia soul groups of the 1970s. The group is most noted for several hits on Gamble and Huff’s Philadelphia International label between 1972 and 1976.
