Fender Stratocaster I always say that my dad can fix just about anything - he refurbished this Fender in just a few weeks. It represents not only a talent but a passion he has always had for carpentry
Paddle The canoe paddle represents two things: the canoe that he built himself and his love for up North and nature
Fossil Dad is always finding fossils. It represents his passion for science, and learning.
My dad taught me how to cook, can, and bake. He always made sure I was apart of the process and made it fun.
Spoon&Fork
Lens I owe my interest in photography to my dad who always carries his camera wherever he goes. The lens is a symbol for just some of the knowledge he has passed down to me.
Pencils This will be my dad’s 15th year of teaching. The pencils symbolize his dedication to his work and students
Wrench Chainsaw The chainsaw represents both a talent he has for woodcarving, but also this zeal he has for learning - and teaching himself- to do new things.
Fishing Knife As a avid hunter, my dad has a great deal of respect for animals and nature. The knife is a symbol for the time
Dad taught me how to fish from the time I could stand on my own. The fishing lure symbolizes the time we have spent up North together and what he has taught me.
Lure
Telescope The wrench is a symbol for the hard work he has put into building, fixing, and making things. This telescope represents Dad’s interest, knowledge, and love for all things science.
