Art School: Winter Classes EPMA's Art School offers classes for teens and adults, ranging in experience level from beginner to master. Choose from Ceramics, Painting, and Painting with Wax. Classes are offered January 11 - March 3 on Thursday evenings from 5:30 - 8:30 PM and Saturdays from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM or from 1:30 - 4:30 PM.

Ceramics $75 for Members | $95 for Not-Yet-Members Roll up your sleeves and build extraordinary ceramic wares. Students new to pottery learn hand building and wheel throwing while more experienced students refine skills and develop a personal style. Tuition includes all materials and supplies, including 25 pounds of clay.

Painting $47 for Members | $59 for Not-Yet-Members Explore fundamentals of acrylic painting and work from still-life arrangements through multiple painting projects. Tuition includes basic materials and supplies. Students will need to purchase approximately $40 in additional supplies.

Painting with Wax $47 for Members | $59 for Not-Yet-Members Wax isn’t just for candles. Beginners learn the nature and safe use of wax pigments, color theory, and composition while experienced students learn new techniques. Tuition includes basic materials and supplies. Students will need to provide approximately $30 in additional supplies. Register online at elpasoartmuseum.org, by calling 915-212-3061, or in person at the Museum Store. O Holy Night: The Nativity in Renaissance Italy Thursday, December 14, 5:30 - 7:30 pm Create art inspired by EPMA's holiday-themed exhibition exploring the Nativity's representation in Italy with tours throughout the evening.

Wednesday, December 27, 12 - 2 pm

Build homes and buildings with LEGO bricks inspired by the exhibition, Frank Lloyd Wright: Architecture of the Interior.

Create a watercolor print using leaves and flower petals and explore the exhibition, Gardens of Earthly and Unearthly Delights.

Make your own stained glass window cling inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's colorful and geometric designs.

Paint a watercolor masterpiece and view the exhibition, Tom Lea: Watercolors and Washes.
