UNIVERSITY PROJECTS Location: Attenborough Nature Reserve, England. The cabin is built on the purpose of being environmentally friendly, and blending into the surroundings. The use of timber materials and SIPs panels is preferred because of its soundproofing, thermal insulation and easy to build for prefabricated construction. In the project, I learn to work from all the design steps, from research, initial concept design to technical drawings package.

Target customers are young and dynamic one. I participated in the stage of material selection, conceptualisation and through many revisions of materials and bespoke joinery in accordance with the desires of the customers, in order to finally produce the final 3D visualisation product. The images are done mainly in 3ds max, Photoshop with the modelling from Sketch Up.

02 HAIDILAO RESTAURANT Location: Birmingham city, England. A high reputation restaurant with main dishes is hotpot buffet located in Birmingham’s centre. The concept comes from sophistication, elegance and warmth sensation. I am working in the step-by-step finishing of a concept, choosing key colour tones, materials and interior layout of the whole area. I work together with the chief architect and our director for design revision and development. The outcomes are achieved on 3ds max software for rendering visualisation, technical details on Auto Cad, modelling on 3ds max and Sketch Up.
Software used: 3Ds Max, Vray Rendering, Photoshop, Auto Cad, Sketch Up.

02 THE RED DOOR SPA Location: Su Van Hanh Street, District 10, Vietnam. The Red Door Spa is the beauty spa chain of Elizabeth Arden brand. The brand identity is a series of colours between the different shades of red. Since then, the design is inspired by the brand’s colour palette, using mosaic glass, bringing a sense of light and relaxation to the spa space. I worked from the initial concept stage, into the designing and modelling phase using Sketch Up and 3Ds Max. Eventually, I did the CAD technical drawing package to the final step to meet the client’s requirement. Most of the furniture is specifically bespoke designed by me.
Software used: 3Ds Max, Vray Rendering, Photoshop, Auto Cad, Sketch Up.
WORKING PROJECT 32
THE RECEPTION 33
The spa focuses on the area where Elizabeth Arden’s products are displaying and merchandising. The position is right next to Reception, to attract customers’ attention. Customers can buy products to take home after the experience at the spa.

The building has 5 floors in total, the secondary reception on the first-floor plan is created as a place to store customers’ belongings and separation between the dry and wet areas of Sauna, Jacuzzi and Steambath.

02 RESIDENTIAL HOUSE Location: Nguyen Hong Street, Binh Thanh District, Vietnam. I was able to be a team leader for this project. I took responsibility for every stage from first ideas to being built, always keep connected with the clients to consult and provide the best for their needs. The owner wants the house to be finished as soon as possible so I worked under high pressure to make sure everything reached the timeline. I took part in every design stage: deliver Cad technical drawings, 3D Visualisation, FF&E, Construction supervision.
Software used: 3Ds Max, Vray Rendering, Photoshop, Auto Cad, Sketch Up.

02 PENTHOUSE Location: Jamila Apartment, District 9, Vietnam. Luxury apartment project of the real estate corporation Khang Dien. I took the position of 3D Visualiser for model apartments. The following is one among the most deluxe apartments with 3 en-suite bedrooms, 1 kitchen and open living room. I worked from the initial concept stage, into the designing and modelling phase using Sketch Up and 3Ds Max. Then I layout the images in the selling brochure and made it eye-catching for marketing purpose. Most of the furniture is specifically bespoke designed by me.
Software used: 3Ds Max, Vray Rendering, Photoshop, 3D Model-making by 3Ds Max.

SPRINGING FROM INNER SPIRIT
AFTER MATH
Misra Arabaci Springing From Inner Spirit is inspired by ideas around the spirituality of colours and the interactions between colours, that many masters and students of the Bauhaus experimented with throughout their artistic lives. Before the Constructivist artistic philosophy affected the curriculum of the preliminary course, colour and form had been taught as spiritual concepts by important colour theorists and painters of the time, including Johannes Itten and Wassily Kandinsky. This piece is a portrait series, an experimentation with Kandinsky’s theories about the interactions between complementary colours, asserting the inner meanings of eight colours and the various types of movement between spectator and ground, and the level of active force within them. Throughout the series, by applying these concepts to the same portrait, which looks like a white canvas, I aim to provoke different feelings and create depth of field at different levels. In addition, a mind map, explaining Kandinsky’s interpretation of the language of colours and forms briefly, invites the viewer to examine them from his perspective.
Nottingham Trent University
INTRO Aftermath 2020 explores the legacy of the Bauhaus through the practices of ten contemporary artists and ten new artworks. The project is an annual collaboration between Nottingham Contemporary and Nottingham Trent University Art and Design Masters students. This year the students responded to the gallery’s exhibition in 2019, Still Undead: Popular Culture in Britain Beyond the Bauhaus. Still Undead explored how Bauhaus ideas and teaching have lived on in Britain over the last hundred years. The exhibition incorporated artworks that fuelled the school’s lively culture of parties and festivals. It expanded on the experiments in light and sound, characteristic of Bauhaus students and teachers, by navigating the legacy of the school’s pioneers to illustrate their influence on pop culture and art schools. Aftermath 2020 traverses the themes of Still Undead and adds to it; a demonstration of how Bauhaus ideas continue to evolve and inspire artists and art teaching a century after the art school’s conception. Echoing the youth culture of the 1970s and 80s, the artists featured in Aftermath 2020 take inspiration from the ground-breaking innovations of this early 20th-century avant-garde. Students on the MFA Fine Art, Photography, Interior Architecture, Graphic Design & Illustration courses at Nottingham Trent University have collaborated to produce this public exhibition; an opportunity to make, share and connect both within and beyond the university. In response to the new context created by COVID-19, working in times of self-isolation and social-distancing, and supported by the Nottingham Contemporary team, the students have adapted and re-shaped their initial responses to deliver this exhibition digitally.
