OUR SPECIALIZED SERVICE
LEED CERTIFICATION
We provide technical advice to and collaborate with building Owners and project teams from pre-design through construction. We organize and review the LEED documentation
ENERGY AUDIT FOR BUILDINGS: OVERVIEW
BERDE CERTIFICATION
Our team includes Certified BERDE Professionals who assist BERDE project proponents in understanding the synergies among the categories and plan for the BERDE certification process.
Energy audits come with three different levels of comprehensiveness. Every building and building owner is different and is looking to achieve different things. For some it is essential for commercial viability, for others something they would like some expert input on before considering further. We have detailed the options below:
WALK THROUGH ASSESSMENT
WELL CERTIFICATION
A WELL Certified project has the potential to add measurable value to the health, well-being and happiness of building occupants. WELL is composed of over one hundred features that are applied to each building project, and each WELL Feature is designed to address issues that impact the health, comfort, or knowledge of occupants through design, operations and behavior.
Arcadis delivered the first Well-certified building in the Philippines.
COMMISSIONING
Commissioning is a systematic process for enhancing the delivery of a project. The process focuses upon verifying and documenting that the facility and all of its systems and assemblies are planned, designed, installed, tested, operated, and maintained to meet the owner’s project requirements. It attempts to ensure that quality outcomes are produced by the project design, construction, and operation sequence. It is in essence about the communication and verification of expectations.
ENERGY MODELING
Our specialists can evaluate the overall performance of your building design and energy conservation measures compared to an ASHRAE-compliant building.
Based on this evaluation, LEED AP consultants will propose design improvements that will optimize energy performance such as changing the building orientation, use of better glazing, improving chiller efficiency, addition of occupancy, and photobased sensors, among others.
A simple and basic audit that involves a review of utility bills, interviews with site operating personnel, and a walkthrough of the facility. The purpose is to see glaring areas of energy inefficiency and uncover major problem areas. Data is compiled to produce a preliminary report with no-cost / low-cost measures and potential capital improvements for further study. This level of detail is enough to prioritize energy efficiency projects and assess the need for a more detailed audit.
ENERGY SURVEY AND ANALYSIS
A Level 2 audit builds on the preliminary ASHRAE Level 1 analysis and would include a more detailed data collection, energy calculation, and financial analysis of proposed energy efficiency measures. The level of detail would be adequate to justify project implementation.
DETAILED ANALYSIS
This level focuses on the potential capital-intensive projects identified in the Level 2 analysis. It would involve more detailed data gathering as well as a more rigorous engineering analysis. Existing data will be supplemented with sub-metering and operations monitoring for major energy consuming systems.

WATER CONSULTANCY
We provide sustainable and full-cycle water solutions. From rising tides and drought to polluted reservoirs and broken pipes, the challenges faced in managing and distributing the world’s water are vast.
Water is one of our most essential components and supports economic, urban and social development. In Asia, the need for sustainable water solutions is being impacted by core factors such as increased rainfall, rising sea levels and ageing infrastructure. Combine all those elements with a shortage of clean reliable water, and the need for holistic planning that addresses resilience has now become essential.
As country and city leaders look to provide sustainable water solutions, we also understand the importance of combing all stakeholders from different levels of the water cycle in the planning stages. Only with a complete understanding of the challenge at hand can you then build a resilient solution.
As the situation continues, the impact of poor quality of water, severely damaged water ecosystems and depleted aquifers will continue to affect human health and environmental receptors.

Feasibility Study of the Kaliwa Water Supply System
As population increases, the demand for water supply also increases particularly in highly urban city like Metro Manila. This raises the need for an additional source that will provide redundancy in water supply. While the Angat Reservoir is sufficient to meet the current demand, an immediate secondary source would bring more flexibility in the operation and management of Angat Dam as well as provide long term water supply security to Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
Several studies have been made to identify and develop alternative water sources for Metro Manila. This includes the development of a dam at the Kaliwa River to ensure short term and longterm redundancy.
SCOPE OF SERVICES: Feasibility study for water treatment plant as well as the raw and product water conveyance system.
