District Convention Recap

Want to be part of the District Board? Interested in helping plan District Convention 2013? Our new Convention Chair, Denny Lim, is looking for a limited number of Convention Aides, who will assist him and the rest of the district board in planning next year’s District Convention! Convention Aides are required to attend all district board meetings, which are listed below. Please email me if you want an application, since it is due on April 12. Also, if you are currently a club officer and you are selected to be a Convention Aide, you must find a replacement for your officer position in your home club.

This year, District Convention was held from March 21st to March 24th at the DoubleTree Hotel in SeaTac, Washington. The theme was “Diving into service” and our division had over 100 attendees! As always, DCON was an unforgettable experience because we got to meet people from all over Alaska, Canada, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, and California, but convention was especially exciting for us because we sat in the front rows (Andy, the past convention aid was able to hook us up!) Thank you to everyone who represented division 26! ~

346 more days until District Convention 2013!
