With the start of a new year, only means one thing. Old members have left and it’s time to recruit new ones! So I wish that all of you upperclassmen try your best to persuade freshmen to join Key Club! Be a creep if you have to! We need to kick start and raise the population of our division once again! Also, the September DCM will be hosted on the 28th of this month! I will post more info about this on the divisional page soon! Reviving JFKHS Why? So as LT.G I plan on following Jessica’s plan and reviving JFK high school. They will be one of the newest schools in our division along with Nova. I believe that we can make our division even more powerful with the help of JFK!

HOW? Well to recharter a club you must find officers, an advisor, meeting room, a sponsoring Kiwanis Club, and Club building kit! JFK must also follow the bylaws and be approved. This can be done by raising $600 as a initiation fee.

WE CAN DO IT!

So how can YOU help!? Well division 26’s current members can help by raising money at your school and donating a small fraction to JFK, to help start there club!

$600 is a lot guys, but with the help of all the schools in our division, I believe we can do it. JFK is still new to the Key Club world, so let’s give them a warm welcoming and show them what Key Club is all about! Although we have to help them become official members first!

What is The Eliminate Project? Description: Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. This deadly disease steals the lives of nearly 60,000 innocent babies and a significant number of women each year. The effects of the disease are excruciating — tiny newborns suffer repeated, painful convulsions and extreme sensitivity to light and touch.

Our Goal: To raise money during each DCM and each event to donate towards the Eliminate Project! I plan to raise $1000 by the end of my term! And I’ll need you guys to help me!

Who wants a spot in a DCON promo video?  One lucky member in our division will get the opportunity to be featured in a promo video for DCON!  Attend a majority of divisional events, like DCMs and Seattle Rally  Be a member in good standing with your home club  Have Spirit! Good luck to everyone!

At the end of the year, the two schools with the most points will win a pizza/ice cream party! One winner will be a big school and another winner will be a smaller school.
