"Nagsasagawa tayo ng weekly monitoring dahil sinisiguro po natin na walang mang-aabuso sa mga business owner na magtaas ng mga prices nila which is malaking tulong para sa mamamayang Bangsamoro lalo na ngayong buwan ng Ramadhan," Yacob said.

[We are conducting weekly monitoring because we are making sure that no business owners will abuse and raise their prices, which is a big help for the Bangsamoro people especially this month ofRamadhan.]

Meanwhile, Minister Taddik reminded businesses and traders not to take advantage of the situation where demand for basic foodstuff has increased.

Accordingly, common people are suffering due to rising commodity prices. Therefore, the Ministry ensured to effectively meet the needs of BARMM residents the peace agreement to the extended transition period. We are also very happy that more young peoples are very supportive and passionate about joining this peace process, which isright as it is for theyoung generation,” said Arnado.

“The CAB for me is our ticket to peace, it is not a simple compact. It’s a frame-up of our day-to-day lives. Can you imagine if we didnt have a peace agreement, what could be our situation now? We have an accord, we should appreciate it,” she stressed.

The action taken aims to provide the public with reasonable prices of Basic Necessities and Prime Commodities (BNPCs), including the monitoring of the flow of commodities during the month ofRamadhan.
