It is sad, but it is true; my life revolves around technology. I love my gadgets like my Mac, my Ipod and my Iphone because it allows me to be connected with the world. You can find a lot of our harvested crops within entrees, soups, salads, and even during our Thanksgiving Feast.
Kaya Moody One of the main reasons students try to get their grades up is to be on honor roll. It’s always good for students for try On November 4th, here at PACS Newark, we just finished to get on honor roll each quarter, whether it’s Dean’s List or Headmaster’s List. When you make it on the honor roll, up the first marking period. This is the same thing as the you are announced to the whole school on Day 5’s ending of the first quarter. All grades for the first quarter are going in permanently. Most teachers give opportunities Community Time. You also get a hard copy of your award at the end of the day. As a student, I think it is very for students to raise their final grades, such as with extra credit assignments and tests, which are worth a pretty big exciting to be getting an award. You always get a good feeling when you are recognized for doing the right thing! part of your grade. One DIY I tried was making my own lip stain. This did not take a lot of time at all. First, I took my favorite pack of Kool Aid. Then, I put it on a plate and wet my finger with warm water. I then started to apply the kool aid to my lips. It might burn; it burned with me! Then, you need to take a napkin and wipe off the Kool Aid and then you have yourself a lip stain. The actual main idea for DIY’s is creativity. You have to really have a passion or put your mind to doing it yourself! Do you have the courage to do it yourself? Kaylah Coleman

STEVE JOBS’ JOB
Continued from Page 01
In the summer of 1993, Steve Jobs stated in the Wall Street Journal that ”being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful - that’s what matters to me.” Steve Jobs appreciated beauty in all aspects of life, whether it was a beautifully designed washing machine or an amazing story line for a book or a movie. He not only pushed the engineers to make the gadgets he dreamed of , but also what other people dreamed of. Steve Jobs wasn't known to be funny or nice , but he was always at the center of everything Apple did. No one has control on good ideas or good advice, so as a leader you should always be listening. Be visible, note down what you hear and you'll be surprised how much you learn. Even though his long battle with illness, Jobs never lost his love of App told us that if you don't enjoy what you do, then it isn't going to work out But one thing I admire the most about Job is His ability to think deep and make things really simple and most useful, his pride in making things happen at any cost, always searching for the better ways to do things, eliminating things he don't like and determined at keeping the things he found interesting , keep it simple and stupid. We will never have the same personality as he did when we give a speech even if we wore black turtlenecks, blue jeans, and copied his tone of his speech. Michael Torres
Kobe X’s vs Lebron13 Travis: There are a lot of shoes to play basketball in. But, to me, the best shoes to play in are the Kobe X’s. Kobe’s are very durable. I really like Kobe’s, their style is nice and they look good on your feet. Plus, also a lot of people wear Kobe's now a days. But we’re not only going to be talking about Kobe's. We’re going to talk about the best basketball shoes. Between Lebron 12 and Kobe X. In my opinion, I like Kobe X. But we'll see what Brandon think about Lebrons. Brandon: I know a lot of people say that the Lebron 13’s are ugly, but to me they are nice. They are very comfortable and durable, but they are little bulky. The traction looks bad at first, but it's great on basketball courts. They have flexibility where you need it, which is good. The ankle support is also good. I will say that once you put them on, they will feel stiff, but once you start to wear them more, they will feel awesome on court. Travis Derival Brandon David
