Home to two world-class motorcycle championships — the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP) and Superbike World Championship — Phillip Island’s Grand Prix Circuit provides a spectacular venue and backdrop for international and national motorsport events. Music events include the annual Sounds of Summer and Ocean Sounds series, featuring talented local musical acts in beautiful relaxed settings. People with a passion for open water swimming and running can get involved in the Bass Coast Series,
including one of the local favourites, the San Remo Channel Challenge. The Island Whale Festival and San Remo Fishing Festival celebrate the region’s natural environment and provide interactive experiences and fun activities for all ages.
