CENSUS REALLY COUNTS
THE 2020 U.S. CENSUS matters to South Philadelphia in several ways. By obtaining a complete tally of residents, the area will be assured of the maximum governmental allocations to which it is entitled. Secondly – it provides many job opportunities for residents, especially those who showed up at a Census Job Fair at South Philadelphia High School organized by, L-R, State Sen. Larry Farnese, Census Bureau representative Darlene Monts, Councilmember Kenyatta Johnson and Ward Leader J.R. Rowan. Photo by Wendell Douglas
