Three legends of Grays Ferry were honored for their lifetime of support to the community. Former City Councilman Franny Rafferty, Jack Keenan and the family of "Hank" Clinton all came out to receive these honors at the 4th annual Grays Ferry Hall of Fame Awards Night, held at St. Gabriel’s Hall, 29th & Dickinson Streets. “The 2009 Grays Ferry Hall of Fame Awards were
presented to three people who have worked for over 20 years finding ways to improve the quality of life for the youth, adults and senior citizens in our community,” said Grays Ferry Council President Robert Gormley. Awards were presented to Rafferty, Keenan and the family of Clinton. Volunteer bartenders donated their tips to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
