by R. George Linton One of the smartest things Kenyatta Johnson did when he took over the reigns in the 186th Legislative Dist. was to make S. Broad Street his constituent hub. Johnson had some big shoes to fill after succeeding long-time representative Harold James. But one thing James never had during his time in office was an office on Broad Street. Johnson has found a home on the 1800 block of Broad Street. The savvy freshman lawmaker is a stone’s throw away from other elected official on Broad Street. The Point Breeze-born Johnson is

best known in the neighborhood for leading the Peace Not Guns organizations. Johnson has gone from street activist to influential policy-maker in two-short years. Judge Releases Report On Southern Attacks Kicking It Up A Notch The South Philadelphia Soccer Club is ready to kick-off its 2nd Annual Golden Gala Event. The soccer club will present the 2010 Golden Goal Award to Gordon Dunlop, Jr., on Saturday, Mar. 6 at Galdo’s Catering, 20th & Moyamensing Avenue, from 7 p.m. to midnight.
