Thanks to some hearts of gold, the eight nuns that reside at the 3rd & Reed Streets parish will begin to get their dilapidated rooms spruced up and brought into the 21st century, one by one. After reading a report in last week’s South Philadelphia Public Record about the poor condition nuns live in at the convent, an E. Passyunk Avenue store owner became the first to step in and help.
