...For One Day As Flyers Wives Raise $$ by Maria Merlino Sunday was a beautiful day, with temperatures just perfect for walking to the Wells Fargo Center and supporting The Flyers Wives Fight For Lives Carnival. I got there at 2 p.m. and there was a crowded parking lot with fans decked out in their best black, orange and white sports fashions. SOUTH PHILLY Tea Party Patriots hosted City Council At-Large candidate Joe McColgan and City Commissioner candidate Al Schmidt at its February meet-up, which was held in South Philly’s voter-rich 39B Ward. On The March Again Neumann Goretti Saints Clinch Catholic Championship The Basketball Saints at Neumann Goretti are on the march for another state title. For the third straight year, the Neumann Goretti Boys Basketball is Catholic League champions.
