A NEUMANN-GORETTI graduate is carrying the baton for the South Philadelphia Relay For Life cancer benefit. Michelle Rumbaugh, 24, of the 1300 block of Wharton Street, is the event chair for the 5th annual fundraiser at Marconi Park, Broad Street & Oregon Avenue. Rumbaugh has helped raise almost $14,000 to date for the event that kicks off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 18. "Lots of organizations raise money for a specific cancer -- which is fantastic, " she said. "Our event is more general, and for all cancers, and all genders." (Cont. Page 2)
