We Can’t Forget Kevin Hannah SPHS Alumni Hall of Fame Inducts
Composer Nocella and Five Others
Composer, conductor and violist Dr. Peter Nocella was inducted into the South Philadelphia HS Alumni Cultural Hall of Fame with Dr. Elaine Camerota, a creative-arts psychotherapist, ’57; and Dr. Thomas McCurdy, environmental planner and a former research scientist with the EPA, ’58. Three Athletic Hall of Fame inductees included Eroy Brown, ’70, who had a stellar SPHS athletic record in baseball, football, and track and field; Isaiah “Bunny” Wilson, ’67, who played in the NBA for the Detroit Pistons in the early ’70s; and James “Woody” Woodson,’63, who played eight years in the NBA with the LA Lakers.
