FOREWORD During the “Icon/Symbol/Isotype� project, I was given choices to choose an object that I find important in some ways. I started with a wrench, an alarm clock, and a binder clip. The goals were to choose something that is mobile and simple. I ended up choosing the clock for its shapes and mild complexity. The project then continued to be a set of challenges for me to answer, thinking all the different ways I can make the clock iconic and easily recognizable. It is like putting the object through a food processor, and gets different result from each setting. When the time comes, a final icon was produced and used. Then come the logos. Logos are made specially catered to six different companies: organic food grocer, big box store, sport team, law firm, fast-food restaurant, and Indie music record company. The objective was to include the object and its name in the logo production.

COMPANY STATEMENT

O

ur establishment, Organic Alarm Clock, is a place where consumers can purchase organic produce and products when it is the most ripe and useful.

Our logo is based on a tree vine, which is the first thing that inhabited Earth. It makes sense; most of what we eat is grow on trees. So there is no need to worry about chemicals and preservatives.

We are different than most organic retailers. For one, we are housed in an environmental friendly building. Using the sun as our number one source of energy, thus reducing our carbon footprints.

The colors in our logo represent the Earth on which it was found. The various shades of green to show that we are in touch with nature and what it has given us all these centuries.

Here at Organic Alarm Clock, we are serving you with the utmost care in our selections of merchandises. Taking a great deal of pride to have our products is the most pure form of substance Earth has to give, or the very least close to it.

Lastly, our slogan is a way for us to introduced Organic Alarm Clock to those who are hesitant to try. We stand behind our company, and our products that we are sure that you will love it just as much as we do.

We have done an extended research to stock our store with products that will you surely find it most convenient. We are not like our peers; there are no hassles when it comes to Alarm O’clock. Help is always there for you to complete your shopping experience seamlessly and effortless. Another

thing we love to do is to help you save money, just look at our slogan. Almost every price in our store has been reduced. We know the importance of saving, and with that we structure our mindset so you do not have to worry. Our logo is very simple and precise. It is a chemistry compound that combines data together, so that what we did. The combinations of products we offered are here to help you live your daily life with ease. There is no need to attend multiple stores.

he Alarm Clock Players are the greatest at what they do — lacrosse. For many years, they have been more wins then losses, and keep their fans on the edge of their seats. The team had endured many challenges in order to keep their games well play and mind sharp. The team began in Toronto, Canada, with a determined coach; their talents were not gone unnoticed by scouters. It was not long until they get the recognition they deserved. After the

Alarm Clock Players signed on, they were exposed to many regions and their fan base started and grew. The logo for the team is what it is, a lacrosse player captured in the moment. And as every player know, that when on the field there are no second thoughts. Live in the moment. Once on the field, the team is your family and family watch each other back. That way all the players can focus on their duty.

ere at Alarm, Clock & Co. Law Firm, we are on the look out for justice for you. We believe everyone is innocent until proven guilty. With that being said, we are someone you can trust to defend you. Both Stephan Alarm and Augustus Clock graduate from Yale Law, and have ten years of experience as litigators and non-court work, they set out to start their own firm. Within that firm many people contribute their knowledge to certain cases to ensure the outcomes are favorable.

The company logo has the Scale Of Justice to represent the two sides of truth and fairness. It is hanging from a clock to show that we will always make time to help you. Another thing about Alarm, Clock & Co. is that we are most proud of the pro bono work offered to those in need. We love the idea of it, being able to help those who cannot help themselves. But that is not all, aside from that; we also donate to charitable organization to help with medical research and children in need.

inyl Alarm Clock is probably one of the most known Indie record labels that produced genius artists that are up and coming. The label started with one band, and from there many deserving artists are given a chance to share their words with the world.

here is a time and place for everything, and when it comes to food why should there be anything less. Alarm Clock Bistro is the place to be if you want good food. The bistro started when Garrett Bonde was in a bind to satisfied his hunger, but wary of the usual places. Not that there was anything wrong with it; it just seems that he ate all he can without feeling repetitive. Then it struck him; he wants a place where he can get all his favorites in one place. Few years later, Alarm Clock Bistro is open; it was a place where folks can eat leisurely and enjoy the company of its inhabitants.

The logo comes about to give the bistro a homey feelings, where it is not too upscale and not too rushed. It is like the sign in your house whenever there is a big feast happening. That is what Bonde was trying to convey with his bistro. He wants people to be reminded of home-cooked meals, excited chatter among family, and with roaring laughter.
