MAINTENANCE, REPAIR AND OVERHAUL SERVICES With experience dating back to the beginning of commercial rotary wing flight, PHI is recognized around the world by operators and manufacturers alike as an industry leader in helicopter maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services. Today, our teams of tenured maintenance technicians expertly maintain our own fleet of helicopters and provide support to companies across the globe. From routine maintenance and inspections to complex modifications, PHI offers a comprehensive suite of MRO services and capabilities to meet our customers’ needs.
STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY Located in Lafayette, LA, USA, our purpose-built facility offers more than 170,000 square feet for major inspections, modifications and upgrades, painting and more. Along with our comprehensive MRO services and support, we leverage our integrated global parts and supply chain solutions to help further minimize costs and downtime while maximizing aircraft availability for our customers.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTIONS With more than 20 individual aircraft bays, our full-service MRO facility is equipped with the latest technology, tools and equipment to provide a variety of routine maintenance and inspection services. We also offer thorough pre-buy and lease return inspections to ensure confidence in your decision.
AIRCRAFT PAINT SERVICES Our state-of-the-art downdraft paint booth is one of the few of its type in the region that can support up to two Sikorsky S-92 aircraft simultaneously. From custom designs to minor repairs, our aircraft paint technicians deliver the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail for high quality, professional finishes on a variety of aircraft and component types.
AIRCRAFT MODIFICATIONS Over the years, our teams have developed numerous Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) for our own fleet and for our global customers. Whether you’re looking to engineer a new solution or install modifications to existing systems, we handle the entire design/build process in-house with unrivaled care and the highest quality components.
SUPPORTING SHOPS AND SERVICES As a full-service MRO provider, we have a full array of specialized shops onsite at our facility. In each shop, we have talented, dedicated craftsmen who work together to ensure your aircraft solutions are built with expert precision and care.
THE LEADING AIR AMBULANCE PROVIDER ACROSS THE US Headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, PHI safely transports more than 30,000 patients each year from more than 60 base locations across the United States. A full-service air ambulance and medical flight provider, our specially trained medical professionals and aviation crews have extensive experience transporting medical patients to and from destinations across the country.
HOSPITAL AND COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMS Whether on call or under contract, medical professionals and health organizations across the country recognize and trust PHI as a critical partner in supporting emergency patient care. PHI operates air ambulance helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft through traditional hospital-based programs, as well as our community-based EMS operations. EDUCATION AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS PHI offers extensive continuing educational programs approved for pre-hospital/nursing CEUs, as well as a variety of demonstrations and educational programs for civic and community groups. Using our state-of-the-art PHI Intensive Learning (PHIL) outreach program—the first mobile intensive care learning simulator in the United States—we provide the experience of treating an actual patient in a mobile learning environment.
