1.877.646.6306 Frequently Asked Questions Is there an office I can visit? HPC is a virtual call center. This means we can assist you over the phone and through fax, email and mail. You will have no need to visit an office. Can you inform my landlord that I am looking for assistance? We are not permitted to have contact with third parties, including landlords. As an intake and referral center, we cannot guarantee funds or date of funds. If we connect you to an agency for assistance, that agency should be able to contact your landlord. Why do you ask me questions about where I live, my age and whether I have children? In addition to providing resources, the call center collects information about the needs of residents in Montgomery County. All of the information you share with the service assessment specialists is handled confidentially and stored securely. Depending on the level of assistance provided, we may ask you to sign a document allowing your information to be shared with appropriate agencies.
