Box Lot Auction #1705 Friday 18th August 2017, commencing at 9.00am Level 2, 170 Queen Street, Melbourne, Australia. Welcome to our fifth Box Lot sale for 2017. This auction contains almost 500 lots with a significant section of literature (100 lots) including many sought-after reference titles & important auction catalogues (all estimated conservatively), plus our usual huge variety of world, one-country & Australian lots including Roo & KGV accumulations, also more high-grade World & Australian kiloware and Australian ‘postage’, plus Colonies including datestamp postmarks. Our major public auction Sale #56 commences at 12.00 Noon, following the boxed lot sale, so please take the opportunity to participate in both sales. Please note that this auction has been incorporated as the first part of Auction 56 on our website. Our auctions are held in our Auction Rooms at Level 2, 170 Queen Street, Melbourne. Enter via either lift in the foyer and proceed to Level 2. If you find the lifts secured when visiting, please press the buzzer outside the front door of the building and a member of staff will come down and escort you to our offices. This auction will be live on the net via our own auction systems. Just login as usual and then open the ‘Live Bidding' window.
