Box Lot Auction #1903 Friday 12th April, 2019, commencing at 9.30am 274A Canterbury Road, Surrey Hills, Vic 3127, Australia. Welcome to our third Collections & Box Lot Auction being held on 12th April 2019. Some unfortunate technical problems have forced us to delay the auction. This auction will be incorporated as the morning session of Auction 69 and begins at 9:30am. While we call these Box Lot auctions, they are much more than that, they include collections (there are quite a few in this auction), smaller-valued single items, postcards, ephemera and anything else that doesn't fit into our main auctions. Our website contains many illustrations of the lots and they should give you a good idea of their content in combination with the description. This auction contains a good variety of world collections and accumulations, plus better one-country selections from Canada, Fiji, GB (incl nice 1840-1935 collection, lot 427) and Poland. KGV Heads bundleware is well represented as is Australian and world kiloware. Australian Colonies features several collections, plus revenues, railway stamps and postmark accumulations. Viewing is available from Sat 6th April to Thursday 11th April from 10am to 4pm and on Friday 12th April from 8am to 9:30am with limited viewing after that, or at other times by prior arrangement. Clients will be pleased to know that our new offices are an easy 20min train ride from the Melbourne CBD, on the Belgrave/Lilydale line, alight at Chatham station with an easy 100m walk to our door, via a convenient pedestrian crossing. Street parking is available in close proximity for those travelling by car. This auction will be live on the net via our own auction systems. Just login as usual and then open the 'Live Bidding' window. This will then give you the ability to bid on each lot just as if you were in the room. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. All our standard auction procedures apply to these Auctions. You can bid in the room, by post, phone, email or through the website. In fact you can bid exactly the same way you do with our normal public auctions. If you intend to bid live online and have any queries as to how our online bidding operates, please contact us, at least the day before, please don't wait until the last minute. Many of the lots contained here are HEAVY and do require some consideration as to how they will be sent to you if mail is your preferred method of despatch. We do welcome bids from all over, but please be aware that postage costs can sometimes be very expensive! We cannot emphasise this enough, although we charge postage on parcels at cost, it can be quite expensive. Check the Australia Post website for full details. www.AusPost.com.au We look forward to your continued & active participation in our forthcoming auction season.
