The first section of the catalogue has 653 lots of non-Australia, PPCS, coins, ephemera etc. Among the more interesting are 3 Ceylon Telegraph stamp proofs (#94), A set of 8 'BERLIN' ovpts in black on Berlin Airlift cvrs (#215), an 1839 Charles Whiting essay (#280). Also within the GB section are some very fine stamps including, a spectacular 9d straw pane of 20 ovpts 'SPECIMEN', a very rare £1 brown-lilac Specimen (#315), a mint £5 orange (#319) and one mint & two used £1 Seahorses (#337-9). Within Southern Africa we have a nice minth 1d PB Cape triangle (#604), a group of Mafeking Siege stamps (#609-12) and a South Africa £1 pale olive-green & red (#614).
