Ex Australia Post Archival Sale Number Two (Lot #111, illustrated in the tender catalogue and still in the original AP numbered sleeve).

—- from bottom of the sheet ACSC #133MS. Hinge traces selvedge only, couple small separations and very light storage-related bend. Very fresh.

1931 Kingsford Smith Overprinted ‘OS’ ACSC #141-2(OS). Both with signature on the back upper left reading upwards appears Pruck. Nicely centred (3d almost perfect) and very fresh, retail c$475.

PAPUA NEW GUINEA | Postal History 1946 Higatura trimmed creased brown paper envelope inscribed “Official”, unfranked and registered to Sydney, from “A.D.O./TUFI/ 1747 * PAPUA” with contents dated Oct 24, 1946 returning “three enclosed envelopes” explaining that the request to register them could not be complied with “as Tufi has no Official Post Office”. Envelope has bright red “T 1/9” but whether this was collected is not clear due cut down state. Backstamps include an incomplete ‘RELIEF’ cds.
