1994 Counter Printed Stamps (Kangaroos & Koalas) five of the six designs denominated $20 at NPC where posted in 1995 (Jul-Aug) for correct TaxPackExpress rate, which guaranteed priority processing of tax returns. These are extremely rare commercial usages; accompanying the lot is an extract from June 2012 Stamp News, wherein Rod Perry explains the reason for these items being in private hands, and states only 25 covers exist bearing the CPS $20 stamps, including one complete set of the six designs. This lot being the second most complete. (5)

A highly important new discovery, with surviving mail of torpedoed Australia-destined ships being extremely rare, unlisted in Peace or Hoggarth & Gwynn. [The ship is believed to have been the unarmed Washingtonian which transited the Indian Ocean via Suez. On April 6 1942 Japanese Submarine I-4 fired two torpedoes which struck the ship, about 200 miles west of Cape Comorin on the southern most tip of India]
