Music is a languaje and we need special signs to write it down.

PLACING THE NOTES ON THE STAFF - You must write them from left to right. - Those notes which are placed under 3rd line must have the stem (plica) down. Those which are place above 3rd line must have the stem up. - Note B “si” is located on the 3rd line, so you can write the stem up or down. It is up to you.
TREBLE CLEF Clef names the notes.

TIME SIGNATURE • On 2/4 measure we have two beats (pulses) . • On ¾ measures we have three beats (pulses) . • On 4/4 measure we have four beats.

O numerador indica cantos pulsos ten o compás. O denominador indica que figura musical ocupa un pulso. 4 significa negra, 2 significa branca, 8 significa corchea

En galego/español a palabra compás ten dous significados: por un lado é a fracción numérica que colocamos ao principio do pentagrama para indicar os pulsos e acentos, por outro lado é o espazo que temos entre as liñas divisorias. En inglés a fracción chámase time signature, e o espazo entre liñas divisorias chámase bar.
