PhilHealth opens new service center in CDO

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – PhilHealth opened its new business center in Carmen, Cagayan de Oro city on 01 August 2016. NorMin crime volume dips as “Oplan Tokhang’ gains CAMPA ALAGAR, Cagayan de Oro City – NorMin police regional command announced today that the monthly total crime volume showed a drastic decrease an average of 44% compared to the crime statistics recorded in 2014 and 2015. Police Regional Office 10 Spokesperson Superintendent Surki Sereñas disclosed that the total monthly crime volume for the entire region usually pegged at over 3000. “July, for example, registered 3,983 crimes in 2014 and 3,171 crimes

in 2015. Compared to the current crime volume of 1,974, crime volume decreased by 50.44% compared to crime volume of 2014 and 37.75% decrease compared to the crime volume of 2015,” Sereñas added. “Our assessment point out to the

Misamis Oriental gov’t elated with nationwide emergency hotline CAPITOL COMPOUND, Misamis Oriental – With the launching of the country’s emergency hotline, the provincial government of Misamis Oriental expressed its support to the latest development, which formally opened on August 1. Public can call the emergency hotline numbers 911 replacing the Patrol 117, for the authorities to immediately respond to emergencies. However, Governor Yevgeny Vincente B. Emano noted calls to 911 will still be shouldered by the callers, and the number 8888 serves as the Citizen Complaint Hotline, where it is directly connected to the office of President Rodrigo Duterte. The governor is also pleased that the service of the emergency hotline, led by the Presidential Action Center,

is active 24 hours a day. Gov. Emano, meanwhile, called upon the people to use properly the hotline and avoid doing prank calls, for the government to genuinely serve the public.
