“I believe that the primary purpose of all human experience is spiritual expansion. I also believe that surprising and powerful opportunities for growth are born of life’s most challenging and painful experiences. My paintings explore this paradox of suffering as an emotional liberator and ultimately my own yearning for experience of spiritual transformation.” – Beth Ten H ove

Liz loves to portray the beauty she captures in the raw, desolate and industrial aspects of cities and their outskirts. Her unique mixed media technique begins with the manipulation of her original photography collaged onto acrylic painted wood panels, finely blended within layers of colorful acrylic washes.

Enrico uses both traditional and digital mediums. Incorporating a wide variety of techniques and effects opening his pallet to new and unconventional modes of expression. From painterly to technical his art has always come from a personal feeling of joy. Enrico’s pieces are a play between precise geometric line work and spontaneous, earthy backdrops. A visual analogy of our desire for perfection in an imperfect world.

“Touch the textures, hear the wind, taste colors, sweet whispering and take in the scent of creative awakening. These images are digital photographs. Most of my work begins with nature and finds expression through abstraction, impressionism, color composition and texture variance.” – Jessica Valn er

“My images must fill the gap between reality and fantasy. The challenge of a photographer is to present images in a fresh new perspective. Documentary shots may show incredible detail, or provide context to the subject, but I am looking to inspire imagination by showing less detail. Be it motion blurs or digital compositing, the image in my minds eye is always the goal.” – N or m Stelfox

This series was motivated by the migratory patter ns seen in nature. The indigo and grey are immaterial representations of the natural barriers of sea and sky. While the decorative elements illustrate the perseverance of motion.
