DOLPHIN BEACH HOTEL LAGOON-FACING APARTMENTS Escape to a quiet haven in a lagoon-facing apartment with pristine views of the nearby wetlands and its array of birdlife. This serene space is appointed with residential-designed furnishings and a separate bedroom with a double bed, quality bedding and block-out curtains. All lagoon-facing apartments sleep up to two adult guests with the option to use the sleeper couch to accommodate two children under 12 years old. Also included in each room is a lounge suite with a sleeper couch, reading lamp, television, work desk with power outlets and Internet connectivity. SEAPOINT SWIMMING POOLS Sea Point Pavillion Swimming Pool A prominent landmark of the area, the Sea Point Pavillion Swimming Pool has been around since the 1950s, keeping locals and visitors chilled during summer's heat. The Olympic-sized pool's water is sourced from the ocean itself, so expect a nice cool swim when you jump in. There are two other smaller pools available, as well as a shallow pool for kiddie to play in.

SEAPOINT SWIMMING POOLS The Sea Point Pool (also known as the Sea Point Pavilion) is regarded as one of the most beautiful public pool amenities and is an inexpensive excursion. An institution in beautiful Cape Town, this community open-air pavilion facility has a 50m Olympic size swimming pool which dates back to the 1950's, has two kiddies splash pools and a deep diving pool with springboard diving equipment including a 5m diving board. Built right on the Atlantic Ocean the pools are crystalline, circulated with filtered sea water and minimum chlorine levels. The Pool itself is view worthy but has a spectacular coastal outlook taken in by both sun-worshippers and recreational or lap swimmers (completely ignored by merrily distracted splashing children). The pools are unheated and open all year round. Home to South Africa's top open-water swimmers who challenge winter cold water temperatures, taking in views of the mountain with a breath to one side and views of Robben Island and the ocean with the opposite inhale.

NOORDHOEK Explore Noordhoek Beach Watch the sun sink down over the ocean and explore a typically empty beach bordered between Slangkop Lighthouse on the south end and Chapman's Peak on the north end. Noordhoek Beach is one of the less popular beaches in the area, probably because it's water is cold and there isn't as much development nearby, but nonetheless it is an incredible beach to visit - in fact, it's the most unspoiled and protected beach on the Atlantic Cape Coast!The northernmost part of Noordhoek Beach that touches the jagged rocks of Chapman's Peak is the more scenic place to start exploring (see map location for directions to the north parking lot). Otherwise, one can park down at one of the beach-access culd-de-sacs in Kommetjie and walk from south-to-north along the beach. If you did in fact park in northern parking lot shadowed by Chapman's Peak, simply walk down the boardwalk path to the beach. There sometimes is a large tidal plain that you might need to wade through, otherwise walk on the sandy path following the boardwalk and enjoy the wonders of Noordhoek Beach.
