Boehmite
PIDC offers a broad portfolio of boehmite materials. Each family of material is available in a wide range of key customizable, defining properties such as crystal size, pore volume distribution, and particle size. PIDC’s boehmites can be utilized individually or as essential building blocks for further customized products. Common applications include abrasive grains, functional coatings, flame retardants, and ceramic binders.

Calcined Alumina
PIDC offers an extensive portfolio of precipitated and calcined alumina (Alumax®) products which differentiate themselves from other precipitated aluminas with their superior purity control. Our proprietary alumina production processes afford PIDC the flexibility to customize surface area, porosity, density, and particle size, giving our customers enhanced performance in their product’s applications. PIDC’s alumina products, available in both powder and slurry form, can be further tailored to meet a wide variety of industry demands. Common applications include polishing, abrasives, and technical ceramics.
