The above diagram shows that if we assume the amount of available heat at a temperature of about 1100 0C and at the oxygen content in exhaust gases 0% for 100%, the increase in oxygen concentration, sequentially to 2,1, 4,5 and 7,4 will reduce the amount of available heat to the values of 90,75, and 60%. A comparison can be seen as great opportunities to reduce gas consumption, exhaust emission control creates and adjustment of the ratio of excess air.
Technical solutions The burner installation is equipped with an oxygen sensor that measures the oxygen concentration continuously. The sensor cooperates, through the PLC controller, with gas flow control systems for each burner or burner section. Increased carbon monoxide in exhaust gases imposes appropriate rigors for the construction of the furnace. The furnace should have proper door seals and a hearth and an effective regulation of the pressure in the furnace chamber. Combustion of CO is also possible, in a properly shaped exhaust duct.
