2nd Thursday Flix Fest
ages 50+ Free
This new social group is a way for movie lovers to get together on the second Thursday of the month, see fine films, and talk about them afterward (optional) Watch a movie of a different genre each month, followed by a discussion session for those so inclined The specific movies will be determined by that month’s volunteer host (with some input from the group) Movie goers may bring a lunch or snacks to enjoy while watching the film
Doors open at 10:30am and movie starts apromptly at 10:45 after a short introduction

Join PRD’s new Storytime Club program and become a mentor to young children (ages 4–5) In partnership with PRD’s Beach and Havens Minimates and Pre-K program, volunteer readers will encourage creativity, build intergenerational connections and help foster language development in Piedmont’s youth
We are seeking dedicated, fun and silly adults like you to join the Storytime Club and make a difference in the lives of children .
