PITCH IN FOR PARKS
Get ready to “Pitch In For Parks”, a volunteer-based program offered through a partnership between Pierce County Parks and McLendon Hardware. Pitch In For Parks is a great opportunity for all ages and abilities (ages 15 and under with guardian) to pitch in and help your community. Join us rain or shine!
To comply with current Safe Start regulations each Pitch In For Parks has limited registration and is not open to drop-in volunteers. Please bring your own work gloves, and wear a mask at all times.

d October 17 | 9 am - 12 pm Naches Trail Preserve Tree Giving Event! Swing by to receive free trees and pollinator seeds. No registration required.
October 24 | 10 am - 12 pm
Old Settler Cemetery | activity code # 15449 Howling for all volunteers! Come convene with us in the cemetery to remove blackberry and ivy. It’s going to be a terrifyingly (shocking, screamingly) good time.
November 7 | 10 am - 12 pm
Parkland Prairie | activity code # 15451 Check out the new preserve expansion, pull some Scotch Broom, plant some oak trees and take one home to enjoy.
