Get ready for “Pitch In For Parks”, a volunteer-based program offered through a partnership between Pierce County Parks and McLendon Hardware. Pitch In For Parks is a great opportunity for all ages and abilities (ages 15 and under with guardian) to pitch in and help your community. Join us rain or shine!
To comply with COVID regulations, each Pitch In For Parks has limited registration and is not open to drop-in volunteers. Click on the free event below to register. Please bring your own work gloves and wear a mask at all times.

Meridian Habitat Park activity code # 15828 Help us remove invasive species from our flower beds and enjoy the sounds of nature.
🌎May 22 | 10 am - 12 pm
Spnaway Regional Park - Bresemann Forest activity code # 16085 Help keep this rustic Spanaway trail area healthy and clear by removing invasive species.
🌎June 19 | 10 am - 12 pm
Chambers Creek Regional Park activity code # 16087 Enjoy the spectacular views as we pull ivy and dig-up blackberry to improve the forested buffer along Grand View Trail near the Little Spot of Shade.
