Get ready for “Pitch In For Parks”, a volunteer-based program offered through a partnership between Pierce County Parks and McLendon Hardware. Pitch In For Parks is a great opportunity for all ages and abilities (ages 15 and under with guardian) to pitch in and help your community. Join us rain or shine!

To comply with current Safe Start regulations each Pitch In For Parks has limited registration and is not open to drop-in volunteers. Please bring your own work gloves and wear a mask at all times.

Come join Santa in planting and caring for trees. Each helper will receive their own potted evergreen.

u December 19 | 3 SESSIONS! Seeley Lake Park 9:00 - 10:30 am | activity code# 15659 10:30 am - 12 pm | activity code# 15660 12:30 - 2 pm | activity code# 15661 Tree planting with Santa! Come join him for a jolly good time. Each Santa Helper will receive their very own potted evergreen to brighten up the holidays.

Parkland Prairie | activity code # pending Spring is in the air! Come help us enhance our prairie life by removing invasive species and enjoy our flowers of spring.

Meridian Habitat Park | activity code # pending Help us remove invasive species from our flower beds and enjoy the sounds of nature.

u March 13 | spring tree event Meridian Habitat Park Celebrate spring by picking up a tree or some pollinator seed packets to plant at home.

u APRIL 17 | Equali-tree event Chambers Creek Regional Park Help us celebrate Earth Day by taking home a tree or some pollinator seed packets to plant.
