Evan and Leah joined forces in 2021 to bring a higher level of service to our clients. We have a great depth of knowledge and experience and utilize each other’s strengths to provide an experience that aims to be seamless and highly successful. Lead Agent

Evan spent the first part of his professional career in the trading pits of Wall Street, brokering transactions between producers, end users, and speculative investors of soft commodities such as cotton, coffee, sugar, and cocoa. In 2009, he and his wife relocated their family to the Upper Valley seeking a better quality of life for their young family. It has been an amazingly positive experience for them all, and one that helps Evan to advise both buyers and sellers in our unique community, where so many people are seeking to take advantage of the opportunities that the region offers.

Leah McLaughry

Associate Broker/Agent

Born and raised in the Upper Valley, Leah is a third-generation real estate broker and has extensive knowledge of the local real estate market and area. Licensed in both Vermont and New Hampshire, she prides herself in her ability to listen to the needs of her clients, steer them through the transaction smoothly, and have some fun along the way. Buying or selling a home is the most important financial decision in a lifetime. Leah aims to stand as a trusted real estate adviser to help her clients make informed decisions and achieve their goals. She is ready to help in all aspects of the process and is excited to share her knowledge and love of the area.

Christine Koster Transaction Coordinator

Originally from Arizona, Christine has resided in Vermont for the last 13 years with her husband, two sons, and dogs. She has a BBA in Finance from Loyola University of Chicago and is a Certified Senior Transaction Coordinator. Christine’s role is to communicate between clients, agents, attorneys, lenders, and any other parties involved in the transaction. She organizes and distributes purchase and sale documents, creates and maintains a transaction timeline, manages details including deposits and inspection management, updates the team regarding addendums and HOA documents, and coordinates closings. She is an incredible asset to the Pierce McLaughry Group and is available to answer any questions as it relates to the logistics of a transaction.

Community Involvement

Evan began getting involved in the local community shortly after moving to the area. He started by coaching youth basketball and baseball during his kids’ elementary school and middle school days. He joined the Norwich Finance Committee, where they oversaw a re-evaluation of all of the town’s public works facilities. He also joined the board of directors of the Norwich Public Library, acting as treasurer for 3 years. More recently, Evan worked with the Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty’s Hanover office to support the Special Needs Support Center, in Lebanon, which supports families with special needs children and adults. This past fall, Evan ran the fall basketball program for the Hanover High School Girls basketball team as they prepare to defend their State Championship season of a year ago.

One of Leah’s greatest joys is being able to contribute her time and energy towards various organizations and sports teams in the Upper Valley. She has long been involved with the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth (CHaD), working primarily on the HERO committee to create CHaD’s largest annual fundraising event every fall. She has also spent time volunteering at David’s House and The Upper Valley Haven, cooking meals, and working on various projects that are of need. Until recently, Leah spent a great deal of time coaching the Ford Sayre Alpine Ski Club, and was as an assistant lacrosse coach for the Hanover High School Girls lacrosse team. Leah believes in the importance of participating and committing time to the local community, to understand our community members better and to make this a special place to live.
