With our technology in your point-of-sale you will be able to accept payments and /or transactions from any wiGroup-enabled mobile app. Transaction types include mobile payments, mobile vouchers and coupons, mobile rewards and mobile loyalty. Why POS integrated mobile transacting? As you know, the world is increasingly Mobile. Everyone has a mobile phone and more and more they expect to be able to use it to find your business AND then be able to transact with you from it. As a reminder, now that you’re part of the wiGroup powered world you can: ▪ A ccept and process transactions from any wiGroup enabled mobile app. These payments reflect on your point-of-sale and reconciliation process, with no change to your current process. ▪ R un, or join mobile loyalty programs to reward your customers. ▪ P romote offers and discounts to users of certain mobile apps, and accept payments from them at your till. ▪ S end mobile vouchers and coupons to your customer base. ▪ B ecome a rewards partner on our platform, which enables you to be included as a 'redemption partner' by large national brands. The rewards are funded by the brands and signed off by you.


wiGroup-enabled apps There is a growing number of mobile apps that are ‘enabled by wiGroup.’ With our platform live in your point-of-sale you can begin to benefit from the value that they offer to you and to your customers. FAQs Who do I contact if there is a QR code or wiCode error? Your first point of contact is your POS provider and if your POS provider can’t resolve the issue then contact support@wigroup.co.za The following information is required by wiGroup Support in order to attend to an issue: • Date of incident

• wiCode

• Store name/Branch

• Error message on POS

• Mobile number

• Other comments

The POS returns an Invalid Code message. If you have entered the numeric wiCode (i.e. not scanned a QR code) check that it has been entered correctly. If the problem persists it is for one of the following reasons: • Voucher or coupon has already been redeemed • Voucher or coupon has expired • Voucher or coupon is not valid at current merchant

• The basket amount is below the minimum amount to qualify for voucher • Campaign has been discontinued


FAQs What must I / my managers do to ensure that mobile transacting is effective and seamless for my business and my customers? • Train your staff • Ensure that tills and connections to wiGroup’s platform are tested and working. • Motivate your staff to communicate the fact that you now accept mobile transactions to all customers

• wiGroup provided promotional material should be displayed in-store to raise awareness and help educate your customers

What do I do if I change my POS provider? Request a ‘wiPlatform Merchant Update’ form from support@wigroup.co.za, fill out the form and email it back.

How and when do I get paid? wiGroup settles merchants individually on a weekly basis based on the total rand value that was redeemed or spent during that week.

How do I order more stickers and marketing collateral? Please email support@wigroup.co.za with your order.
