Canadians favour immigration Despite the growing intensity of xenophobic rhetoric from the Trump administration in the US, Canadians have maintained a generally positive attitude about immigration. Even in light of the recent election of populist leaders in Ontario and Quebec, and the formation of the new Peoples Party of Canada under Former Conservative MP Maxime Bernier, who holds negative views of immigration and multiculturalism, most Canadians continue to see immigration as a good thing for the country. This is according to a recent survey conducted by the Environics Institute. The survey was based on telephone interviews conducted via landline and cellphones with 2,000 Canadians between October 1 and 14, 2018. The results of the survey are considered accurate to within plus or minus 2.2 percentage points in 19 out of 20 samples. Michael Scott examines the survey results in his article “Canadians Still Support Immigration” on page 6.

The Arceta family of Winkler Manitoba recently toured eastward across Canada with a bus load of other newcomers on a trip to see the sites of their new home and country. Most Canadians still think that immigrants are a welcome addition to the country.

Red tape keeps Internet slow in the Philippines It’s no secret that Internet speed in the Philippines is sorely lacking. Even President Duterte, who once confessed that he didn’t even know how to text, knows that the people are suffering from slow connections, and to solve this he opened up the country to a third telecommunications player. Many Filipinos are looking forward to the operations of the winning bidder, the Davao City-based Mindanao Islamic Telephone Company (Mislatel), but the reality is that while the competition will certainly force the two giant telcos – Globe Telecom and PLDT – to shape up, there is only so much the three companies can do to speed up our connections. The reason is that it’s not technology per se that’s causing the Philippines’ mobile internet woes: the biggest challenges are the lengthy permit applications and some uncooperative stakeholders that are holding back the construction of cell sites in the country. Simply put, the speed of one’s connection is dependent on how many people he or she is sharing the bandwidth with. Even if a tower serves up a 4G or even a 5G connection, it cannot give optimum speed if it is swarmed by users. The fewer users per site, the faster the connection is because there are more resources to go around; conversely, the more users per site, the slower the connection is. Currently, the Philippines has the lowest cell site density in Asia, and so each site has to serve more Internet users, resulting in slow

connections. The latest data from TowerXchange and We Are Social show that the Philippines’ 67 million Internet users have to share a measly 16,600 cell sites, or a user-per-cell site density of 4,036. In contrast, India’s 1.459 million cell sites serves 462 million Internet users for a userper-site density of only 316, while Indonesia, with over 91,700 cell sites against 132.7 million Internet users, has a user-per-site density of 1,446. China, with 1.95 million cell sites against 751 million Internet users, has a user-per-site density of 384. Even Vietnam is doing better than the Philippines: with 70,000 cell sites against 64 million Internet users, it has a user-per-site density of 914. The situation is worsened by inequity in the distribution of cell sites. For example, Globe says its 246,700 active customers in Cotabato City are forced to share only 13 cell sites. Globe Chief Technology and Information Officer Gil Genio says this shows “the urgent need to build more towers in order to serve the current data traffic that continuously grows exponentially over the past months.” How rapid is this growth? Globe alone saw its mobile data traffic soar from 430 petabytes (one million gigabytes) during the first nine months of 2017 to 641 petabytes during the same period this year, a growth of 49 per cent. As of the end of September 2018, Globe clocked in at 65.4 million

mobile customers, the majority of whom are Internet users. Building more cell sites, however, is easier said than done in the Philippines. Genio attributes the disproportionately small number of cell sites versus Internet users in the Philippines to “difficulties in securing permits from various local government units (LGUs), homeowner associations, and other stakeholders, causing considerable delay in the construction of such facilities.” “Consumer demand for mobile data is growing at an explosive rate. This means more and more cellular towers have to be deployed to keep up with the demand. But deployment is only the final step to a potentially long, costly site acquisition process,” he adds. There is also an absence of regulations on the construction of telecommunications infrastructure in the country. This allows local government units (LGUs) to impose their own requirements, slowing down the deployment of cell sites. Globe sources say Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte has waived these requirements, but the situation is not the same in the rest of the country. And aside from LGUs, other groups like homeowner associations, exclusive subdivisions, and building administrators also impose certain guidelines and requirements based on Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) Resolution No.

R-626, which was issued in 1998 – before the boom in mobile communications started. From negotiations and documentation of prospective cell site location to securing structural permits and approvals, a telco needs an average of eight months and over 25 permits before it can build one cellular tower. This is what Mislatel will have to contend with. The same problem that has been plaguing Globe and PLDT will face the newcomer and will continue to frustrate Internet users – unless the national government steps in and rationalizes the permits needed. According to Globe Chief Sustainability Officer and Senior Vice President for Communications, Yoly Crisanto, the development of the country hinges on telecommunications. It’s what will make advancements like artificial intelligence (AI), smart cars, and even smart cities possible. Our Asian neighbours are already on the information superhighway while we remain on the dirt road. We tend to blame the telcos and perhaps it’s partly deserved, but if we look closely, we find that there’s more to our Internet woes than meets the eye. Canadians still support immigration What do Canadians think about immigration? Like other countries, the opinions vary, but there is objective evidence to show that Canadians continue to support immigration to the country. CIC News published the results of an October survey conducted by the Environics Institute, which show only a minor change in the level of support since February 2018. This is surprising given the increased politicization of the issue in the United States and across Europe. In response to the statement, “Overall, there is too much immigration to Canada,” 58 per cent of those interviewed disagreed, down slightly from the 60 per cent in February. The number of Canadians who think Canada has too much immigration remained unchanged at 35 per cent while the number with no clear opinion increased by two points to seven per cent. More than three quarters of Canadian respondents continue to believe that immigration has a positive impact on the country. This is down slightly from the 80 per cent who responded positively to this question and the number of Canadians who oppose this positive view on immigration rose from 16 to 18 per cent. The survey found that Canadians who think immigration has made Canada a better place is almost a 3 to 1 margin (45 per cent versus 17 per cent). “There is no public consensus on the overall impact that immigration has on the country, but the balance of opinion is clearly in a positive direction,

and has held steady for the past seven years,” the study concludes. Integration of newcomers continues to be an issue for all Canadians. The study found that 52 per cent of Canadian respondents think newcomers are not adopting Canadian values,

In terms of demographics the survey reports that British Columbia leads all provinces in having a positive opinion about immigration with 63 per cent disagreeing with the statement that Canada “has too much immigration.” Sixty per cent of Canadians under the age of 40 and 70 per cent with university degrees

slightly more than those who think they are. Overall the survey found that concerns about integration “remain lower than for most of the last 25 years.” Both Canadianborn and foreign-born respondents share this attitude and value respect for Canadian history and culture first, along with fluency in English and French languages, and tolerance and respect for each other. But immigration issues are well down the list of items most Canadians are focused on, such as the economy, heath care and the environment.

also disagreed with the statement. In contrast to BC, 42 per cent of respondents in Alberta agreed with the statement that Canada welcomes too many immigrants and Canadians, as did persons with high school or lower education. The overall results are encouraging especially in world where we have to tolerate the ignorance and intolerance of leaders such as Donald Trump. But then again, Canada is different. It is noteworthy that roughly 35 per cent of Canadians oppose immigration and this number

mirrors the hard-core support in the United States for Trump. Maybe we are not so different. We should, however, take comfort in the survey results but remain vigilant to protect Canadian values and immigration efforts. Efforts such as: opening the doors for refugees; the reunification of families; the recruitment of temporary foreign students and workers; and permanent immigration of skilled worker immigration under the federal Express Entry or the provincial nominee programs. Thank you

to the survey respondents who confirm the fact that Canadians support immigration to the country. The most meaningful wish list Another year has gone by and I find myself wondering, “Where did 2018 go?” But more important, I find myself wanting to close out the year with meaning, peace and hope. But I find myself distracted by the busyness of this season. As usual, we are all bombarded by television ads, radio ads and social media with advertisements, and messages of “Get your shopping done!” Interestingly, I currently have 20 emails in my inbox with Black Friday deals and upcoming Cyber Monday sales in the subject line. It is easy to get pulled into the materialism of gift giving, because we so very much want to show our loved ones that we care for them and think of them. But are there other ways to focus on family and friends this season without the pressure of buying that oh-so-perfect present? In my career as a psychotherapist, I’ve heard many stories of emotional pain that come from times of disagreements or misunderstandings with family or friends. People have felt abandoned after not hearing from someone when they expected them to be there, or angry after hearing a comment from a loved one that seemed insensitive, rude

or downright hurtful. At the end of these stories of hurt, people hardly ever tell me that they wish for a material gift from someone. If I had to sum it up, their wish list would actually consist of: Quality time Children may say that they want the latest game console or clothing trend. But as adults, when they look back to their childhoods, they often tell me that they wish their parents had talked to them more. If a loved one has died, spouses, parents, children and close friends will often wish that they had “just one more minute” with that person. Knowing this, what would you choose to focus on this season? One thing on your list could be to go for a walk or a drive with a loved one, take them out for coffee, or pay someone a visit. Kind gestures An expensive present is hardly ever as meaningful as a gift or gesture that takes a lot of thought. Preparing breakfast in bed for someone, shovelling a neighbour’s driveway, dropping off frozen meals, or offering to babysit for someone can go a long way. Attention With work, school and family

commitments, it can be hard to find time to give someone attention. There are so many distractions in our lives that calling someone to say “Hello, how are you doing?” can seem like an impossible feat. One tip that one spouse told me is that he tries to send at least three texts to his wife every day that say, “Thinking of you” or “I hope you’re having a good day.” One parent I know leaves “I love you” notes in her kids’ lunch kits. It’s always the little things that mean the most. Silence When we have conversations with people, most of the time we are in our own heads planning what our next words are going to be, rather than fully paying attention to what the person is saying. We often prepare our next point of debate or words of advice or a story of “when that happened to me.” But the truth is, people feel better when they feel understood and heard. When feelings are validated rather than ignored or minimized, people can move forward from a problem more easily. So when someone is telling you about their day or a dilemma, make a conscious effort not to say much. Look them in the eyes and offer a smile of encouragement. Let them talk. It may mean more to say, “Wow

that’s sounds so difficult,” rather than “What you should really do is this…” Words of love Expressing love never has to be complicated. The simplest phrases can mean the world to someone if they are heartfelt, and these include: • I love you • I’m sorry • I’m proud of you • I’m here for you • I’m listening • I understand A hug Sometimes, no words are called for at all. When we see a distressed child, we instinctively know what to do. We will pick them up, hold them and tell them that everything will be okay. Yet somewhere along

the way, we sometimes forget how to console adults. We try to give advice or worse; words of shame or guilt. Putting aside the “I told you so” and just giving that loved one a hug could be all that they need. So as you plan out your Christmas shopping list this year, it may be worthwhile to give these ideas a thought. Not only could you be giving a more meaningful gift this year, you might be receiving one in return too. To all the Pilipino Express readers, I wish for you serenity, comfort and joy this holiday season! Golden feng shui – wealth enhancing tips for attracting riches with gold In the pantheon of metals, gold is by far the most highly prized metal in the world. Many nations back their currency to gold, and investors follow gold’s ups and downs in the stock market. Asian countries, like India and China, are smitten with the metal. Indians often purchase gold as an investment and as a way to store their money, often buying beautiful and elaborate jewellery pieces as a sign of wealth and for its ability to retain its value despite currency shifts. But China really shines when it comes to being a country in love with gold. Like India, many Chinese buy gold as a hedge against currencies and as a sign of good luck, with many purchasing gold at the start of a new year. Almost anything you can imagine is coloured gold in China. Pens are covered in gold to confer wealth upon those who write with them. Ornate golden decorations are displayed in homes and businesses as a wealth enhancer and to show off good fortune and welcome even more prosperity. Golden coins are hung from door handles, cash registers, windows, and desks. Gold is glorious in China and feng shui In feng shui, all metals are associated with the planets in our solar system, but the one most auspicious of them all? Glittering, sun-infused gold. Gold, with its warm glow, represents the sun, the centre of our solar system and around which all other planets rotate, making it magnetic. Golden objects are considered more fortunate because they have the sun’s yang energy infusing them and are considered more potent for magnetizing and attracting greater wealth. Even though platinum is costlier than gold, it’s gold that’s coveted by more individuals and nations, and is displayed as a source of power and wealth. In feng shui, gold is important because of its ability to generate water, or money and income. It’s also a symbol representative of heaven and heaven’s favour, and the sun’s magnetic pull. Use the colour gold to create wealth and prosperity and for infusing your life with gold’s powerful symbolic energy and magnetism. Here are tips to get you started. 1. Use gold to attract favour,

heavenly assistance, helpful people and to initiate projects. Gold is magnetic and attracts attention. This is the metal that can gain you favour, and draw helpful people and mentors to you. Wearing gold and displaying gold objects on your desk, for example, helps to attract powerful people to your side, giving you first shot at opportunities and making everything easier by opening doors for you. 2. Carry a golden dragon. Displaying a golden dragon or carrying one as a keychain or purse charm can add wonderful energy for making money, windfalls, and for opportunities to fall easily into your lap. Another good option is the piyao, the offspring of a dragon. The piyao is said to help you amass money because he eats gold and doesn’t excrete. Carry a piyao charm or wear jewellery with a golden piyao. 3. Carry gold in your wallet. Purchase a small gold ingot or coin to carry in your wallet or handbag to attract more money and help you make ever increasing income. If that’s not feasible, carry a bright gold threetie coin in your wallet or handbag to boost your wealth attracting ability. Look for gold lining in your handbags or wallets for more auspicious energy. 4. Activate the gold corner of your home. In feng shui, the gold corner of your home is the northwest corner of the man of the house, or the breadwinner direction. This is also the direction of heavenly assistance and helpful people. Placing an auspicious golden object here enhances the

breadwinner energy, attracts a man if you are single looking for a man in your life, and activates the helpful people sector that brings heavenly assistance to you. This is the corner, that when activated, makes life easier and more fruitful, curtailing struggles and adding opportunities. Add a golden shiny object here to activate this corner’s blessings. 5. Wear gold to attract money. Beautiful glittering gold jewellery is warm and enhances skin colour, and helps you attract wealth. Wear gold to important meetings and to look and feel wealthy and prosperous. If you have real gold, so much the better. Look for gold jewellery and gold hardware on anything related to money, such as a handbag or wallet. In fashion, gold with white, black and blue colours symbolizes the productive cycle of making money and creating opportunity. Gold is a metal that transmits energy and that creates the water energy in the colours of blue and black. When gold is paired with white, you have a combination that positively beams power and authority – and gets you attention of powerful allies. 6. Display gold in your home. Add golden shiny elements to your home, such as lamp bases, bowls, or figurines in gold. Whether you choose a gold-ingot filled wealth bowl or a golden Happy Buddha, there is no question that having a golden and glittering home will help to create an auspicious and wealth enhancing atmosphere for making

you wealthy – and infuse your home with the sun’s powerful yang energy. Their shining colour adds extra prosperity energy to your home and activates it for wealth. FENG SHUI Q&A Question: I love silver jewellery and prefer it to gold, but I was wondering if there’s a difference in feng shui between gold and silver jewellery? Answer: Silver has jumped in popularity in the past 20 years as a fashion choice. I think this was influenced by the way home decorating changed. In the 1980’s everything was covered in brass and gold-tone. Then, it changed to cooler, quieter gold. However, we’re starting to see resurgence in gold in home decor. In feng shui, there is a difference in metals. Gold is the metal associated with the sun, around which all our solar system’s planets revolve. This makes gold more yang, and also more precious because it’s found in much smaller quantities. Silver is the metal associated with the moon, and therefore, a yin metal. Both offer protective qualities, though, gold ranks higher on the feng shui scale, and that’s because it’s more yang. But if you enjoy

silver more, then go with your preference. Kathryn Weber is the publisher of the Red Lotus Letter Feng Shui E-zine and certified feng shui consultant in authentic Chinese feng shui. The art of communality ANAK and Migrante Manitoba welcomed theatre artist/ director and doctoral scholar Dennis Gupa to Winnipeg, along with artist collaborators from the Philippines: Actor/Choreographer Francis Matheu, Experimental Filmmaker Jon Lazam III, and Music/Sound Designer Marie Angelica Dayao. Together they have created a beautifully complex and multilayered artistic reflection on the impact of natural disasters in the Philippines, Murupuro / The Islands of Constellation. The multimedia theatre piece was shared during two live performances at Prairie Theatre Exchange, where they were also joined by Winnipegbased artists: Cece Berces, David Oro, Horace Pfeiffer, Joyce Amante Ferrer, Liezel Jacinto, and Vina Dimayuga. The Tuminungnung Philippine Heritage Youth Forum hosted Filipino-Canadian students on November 2nd for an engaging day exploring this year’s theme: from the land. After a keynote address from Dennis Gupa on his process as an artist, the

students were treated to a special preview of the show. Volunteers led discussions unpacking its concepts and the artists conducted a series of workshops for the students to experience the arts and their role in preserving memory and knowledge, and their role in contributing to global conversations. The day concluded with the culmination of everything learned from the day through performances created by the participants. On November 3rd, the public showing of Murupuro / The Islands of Constellation was followed by a panel discussion

featuring Dennis Gupa, student organizer Chance Paupanekis, and visual artist David Oro. ANAK Director and Migrante Manitoba member Johsa Manzanilla moderated the panel discussion, with questions on climate change, decolonization, art, and action. The audience was also invited to interact during the question and answer period, then welcomed to stay for a reception that capped off the evening and provided further opportunity for continued dialogue. “I think that a part of theatre is communality,” Dennis explained. “You have to be a part of that energy of community to make a presence.” Many thanks in solidarity to the volunteers for making the events possible and to all who supported and attended, especially

Sina Gretchen, Marjorie at Claudine.

SHOWBIZ SHOWBUZZ PILIPINO EXPRESS

‘Tis the Season My body is about to burst because it’s that time of the year when I’m filled with good tidings and holiday cheer! For me, Christmas is the best season! As a child, it would be normal to hear Andy Williams belting out It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year in my house. Thanks to my mom, dad and our record player (oh how I miss those vinyl LPs). Christmas songs would play to get us into the holiday mood. It wasn’t just during the holidays that songs would play. I still sing Volaré by Dean Martin (thanks Mom!). I truly believe that I was born in the wrong era or I was a singer in my past life. I really enjoy songs from the Rat Pack, Tom Jones, and Tony Bennett. This could be why I enjoy listening to Michael Bublé or Matt Dusk. I’m a crooner by heart. Christmas has different meanings for all of us and like I said, for me, they are happy memories. Back when I was in my single digits (maybe 6 or 7) I remember waking up one Christmas morning and there under the tree was a giant box! (Everything was big in comparison to my diminutive stature.) “What could it be?” I thought. I’m sure I tore into the wrapping paper with the same force as Americans during Black Friday shopping. Inside was a train set – engine, storage cars and track! I remember putting it together in the basement and

CRISTY... From page 15 pulis na nangongotong?

making CHOO CHOO sounds all day long. I still have that train set, some pieces still in its original packaging. It needs a tune up as the engine car stopped working a long time ago. There was another Christmas where the Voltron: Legendary Defender toy was the big thing. For those who don’t know, Voltron was a Japanese Anime cartoon in which characters would fight the bad guy in their robot lions. When the going got tough and they needed to fight the bad guy, the lions would connect to make one giant super robot, called Voltron. I was lucky enough to have the whole set. I recently looked online to see how much collectors are paying for them, and it was not surprising to see they’re worth a decent amount. Sadly, my mom sold them at a garage sale or gave it away to an unknowing kid who most likely trashed them within minutes. No hard feelings, I know you meant well, mom. I stopped crying long time ago. Fast-forward to my teen years, Christmas still held up pretty well. We would have family over, eat turkey, sing songs and, of course, open presents. Getting gifts as a teenager during the 80s was a difficult time. I didn’t have iPods or iPads to ask for. Cell phones weren’t around like they are today. So what did I get? Clothes – blech! Socks! Boring. Yet, I still remained thankful for having something to open. Fast-forward to current day.

I still get in the holiday mood, however, it’s my wife Elizabeth who has me beat. She loves Christmas. So much so, that she continually buys artificial trees and ornaments for said trees. This year, we only put up seven trees – each with its own theme. My favourite is the 10-foot monster that we put in our kitchen. We call this one the Birch Tree. My second fav is the slender one in our living room, adorned with homemade ornaments made of sea shells and sand dollars that we found on the beach. This one is aptly named the Beach Tree. We decided to keep two trees in the box this year, as that would have just been too much. I give thanks to my family for giving me the opportunities to enjoy the holidays and to create some lasting memories. Whether this is your season or not, I want to wish you all a joyous and safe holiday season. See you in the New Year! Dale manages the communications department for a school district in BC.

Cain at Abel – Kapuso’s new primetime drama GMA Network’s highlyanticipated primetime spectacle, Cain at Abel features two Kapuso heartthrobs Dingdong Dantes as Daniel and Dennis Trillo as Miguel/Elias “Yung istorya nakatutok sa dalawang magkapatid na lalaki. Dito iikot ang kwento,” said Dingdong. “It is the central plot of the whole teleserye. Para sa akin, kakaiba talaga siya. And the fact that I will be working with Dennis Trillo after a long time and of course, si Solenn fresh from Alyas Robin Hood, we’re going to explore something else here. Most of the people in the cast, like Sanya, first time ko makakatrabaho kaya these reasons excite me.” For Dennis, it’s both the people and story that excite him, “Bukod sa makakatrabaho, ‘yung project mismo exciting siya dahil ngayon lang ako ulit gagawa ng action-drama sa TV. Cain at Abel is an actionfamily drama about two brothers, Daniel and Miguel, who grew up in two very different worlds. As children, they were separated by fate. Daniel was raised comfortably in the city by his father. Miguel, on the other hand, was taken by his mother who later changed his name to Elias. They relocated to a poor fishing village where they struggled to make ends meet. Playing vital roles in the lives of the brothers are Solenn Heussaff as Abigail, the bold, sophisticated, and adventurous lover of Daniel; and Sanya Lopez as Margaret, the principled, responsible, and inspiring girlfriend of Miguel/ Elias. Also part of the powerhouse ensemble are: Eddie Gutierrez as Antonio, the shrewd, formidable

father and the Founder/Chairman of business conglomerate Destileria Larrazabal; Chanda Romero as Belen, a loyal homemaker and a loving mother to Daniel and Miguel/Elias; and Dina Bonnevie as Precy, the seductive and scheming home wrecker who stole Antonio from his original wife. Joining them are Ronnie Henares as Gener, Abigail’s father and the corrupt city governor who is also Antonio’s best friend/business associate; Tommy Abuel as William, Belen’s mental health doctor; Bing Pimentel as Linda, Governor Gener’s charismatic but materialistic wife; Renz Fernandez as Louie, the good and responsible Senior Police Officer; Ervic Vijandre as Alex, the unscrupulous Senior Police Officer who does all of Governor Gener’s dirty work; Marc Abaya as Ramon, Elias’ enemy inside prison; Carlo Gonzales as Ronald, Daniel’s best friend and confidante; Boy 2 Quizon as Juancho, Elias’ best friend; Pauline Mendoza as Pat, Margaret’s conservative but feisty younger sister; Vince Vandorpe as Rafael, Daniel’s half-brother who is athletic, charismatic, and known as the campus heartthrob;Shyr Valdez as Tina and Leandro Baldemor as Darius, supportive parents of Margaret; and Euwenn Aleta as Sammy, the jolly and charming son of Miguel/Elias and Margaret. Featuring in special guest roles are the following: Yasmien Kurdi as young Belen; Diana Zubiri as young Precy; Gio Alvarez as young Gener; Rafael Rosell as young Antonio; David Remo as young Daniel; Seth dela Cruz as young Miguel/ Elias; and Ashley Cabrera as young Abigail. EH KASI, PINOY! PILIPINO EXPRESS

PAGE 19

ABS-CBN’s 2018 Christmas Station ID ABS-CBN’s Christmas Station ID Family is Love tugged at the heartstrings of Filipinos around the world. The 2018 Christmas Station ID’s heart-warming stories featuring five unique families have shown that in times of joy or despair, triumphs or trials, we all go back to where we feel love, comfort, acceptance and hope — our family. These are the Garcia brothers—three military men from different military services who fought side by side during the Marawi siege who were often separated for years; superwoman and mom Lorlie “Keribels” Noblezada who earned her college degree while juggling jobs as a fisherman, security guard, traffic enforcer, coast guard volunteer, masahista, and “crying lady” and supporting her family of ten; Dr. Viktorija Cirvinskaite, a 30 year-old missionary doctor from Lithuania who found family in the residents of Talim Island, when she found her calling and stayed to become its only resident doctor; Asian Games gold medalist Margielyn Didal and her family, who worked together to support the skateboarder in reaching her dreams; and inspiring communities in Benguet, who helped one another despite tragic losses to rise up after the ravage of typhoon Ompong. Hundreds of Kapamilya stars participated in the video, which was sung by the likes of Vice Ganda, Coco Martin, Sarah Geronimo, Gary Valenciano, Piolo Pascual, new Kapamilya Regine Velasquez, and loveteams Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano, James Reid and

CRISTY...

music used for the five stories. The 2018 Christmas Station ID entitled Family is Love is now airing on ABS-CBN – for those outside the Philippines, you may catch it via The Filipino Channel (TFC) and on TFC’s Facebook pages applicable for your area.

DECEMBER 1 - 15, 2018

Stressful sa ika-2 at 3.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20) Sa panahon ng kapaskuhan, maging mas mapagpatawad at maunawain ka sana. May magbabalik.

Libra (Sept.

Maraming oportunidad ngayong Disyembre.
