圈凳的設計重點,是探討日常生活中的價值。「物 以稀為貴」還是「庶民生活常備」比較重要?

優雅的古董圈椅,和夜市的塑膠板凳,都是生活 中的「經典」形式。設計師質疑約定俗成的價值 觀,結合非常反差的昂貴優雅的結構,與大量工 業且廉價的塑膠凳,兩樣不具名的”經典”融合 成另一項經典,因為歷史與使用背景的不同,成 為強而有力的衝突對比,有趣的也同時結合了高 級與廉價的使用背景,Plastic Classic 就是一張看 似一體卻各自表述的椅子設計。

The Plastic Classic_LOOP project began as a focus on the transformation of Taiwanese culture, hoping to represent what I thought and felt of living in Taiwan.

The naming of this project–Plastic Classic, is aiming to redefine the design of such unknown “classical” cheap plastic stool; combining mass-produced cheap stool with a contradicting traditional loop chair of elegant structure and expensive imagery, hence creating a new classic; a strong contrast is made due to differing history and background, as well as the cheap and expensive expression that people already had in mind, Plastic Classic is a chair that has two personalities in one body.

花東縱谷因地理位置及產業特性,有許多石材加工後 的邊角料,大部分的材料因為造型面積不 完整,所以 難以運用,也因此啟發了我們的想法,希望有效的將 邊料重新運用,拼接成為可被再次使用的面材。

巧妙的運用石材普遍的水刀及無縫拼接技術,結合傳 統編織的幾何邏輯,將堅硬的石材轉化成 柔軟的圖案 設計,以編織的意象拼貼成為多用途的完整面材,提 升邊料再被使用的機率。

「編石」具有竹編輕盈的柔軟圖樣和大理石材獨特的 穩固文理,連結在地的產業鍊、材質及色 彩,傳達台 灣大理石獨特的質地與文化。

The marble waste generated from stone processing is the main materials of Marble Weaving. We waterjet cut and seamlessly assemble the fragmented materials, organizing them with traditional bamboo weaving pattern. The waste is transformed into a new multipurpose panel material, and is given a greater chance to be used again.

Marble Weaving is characterized by soft bambooweaving pattern, moreover, has the feature of stable marble texture. It connects local industry chain, materials, and colors, to convey the unique texture and culture of marble from Taiwan.

Contrasts in materials and shapes The ribbed pattern on Tsé is inspired by the structure of disposable plastic wares used in Taiwanese roadside restaurants. When the patterns are applied to the fine porcelain the ancient craft is brought into an interesting contemporary context.

In the production the porcelain is burned so hard that the products don’t need glazing – instead they are all polished by hand, ensuring a subtle roughness in the texture, which ads another puzzling contrast to the delicate porcelain.

匠心計畫

食風景,聚 為山。 此次匠心計畫,我們提出「米食風景,聚米為山。」 延伸 the One 中山店的在地米食料理為主題的理念 以富有百岳的台灣島作為發想,在綿延不斷的山形 中,聚集一落落的島嶼、盆地、峽谷等自然景色, 在平面上盛裝的饗宴,象徵著從這片土地生長的自 然食材。

餐具內容包含:山湖燉鍋、百岳盤(大、中)、山 景碗、小丘筷架。置放於桌上有如寶島的餐桌風 景,在山景中,一同品嚐大地豐盛的米食饗宴吧!

Artisan at Heart

The cordillera of rice. Artisan at Heart is a project proposed by the One cafe in Taipei’s Zhongshan district, the concept "The Cordillera of rice" of which tries to further extend the value of the One cafe, which is revolved around local rice cuisines; inspired by the plentiful mountain ranges of Taiwan, a set of tableware mimicking the stretching mountain forms, gathers landscapes of islands, basins and gorges to symbolize the natural ingredients collected from our motherland. The set of tableware includes Mountain Lake stew pot, Centuple Mountain plates (medium and large), Alpine bowl and Hillock chopstick rest. Creating a breathtaking view just by sitting on the dining table, we invite you to savor an undulating rice meal granted by this precious island using this unique set of utensils!

雲錦為中國傳承千年的織錦工藝,明清時代的官服 以正方形的雲錦製「補子」標示官階——文官為飛 禽,武將為猛獸。 在近代,運動競技已經取代戰爭,成為國家間的比 武形式。《運錦》將代表武將的猛獸轉化為運動場 上的選手,代表文官的飛禽從事較靜態的運動;以 當代的語言重新詮釋雲錦紋樣、製作運動周邊商 品,讓新的世代重新認同非遺工藝的美好,將其重 新融入現代生活之中。

Yun Jin is a brocade craftsmanship that holds a millennial history in China. During the Ming and Qing dynasty, togas are marked with square Yun Jin brocades as ranks, more specifically, birds for officials and beasts for attachés. In modern history, athleticism had taken over warfare, becoming the main modality nations compete against each other. Yun Gym converts the beasts into the players fighting hard against their opponent for victory, whilst birds are to represent the athletes engaged in lower static sports. The reinterpretation of Yun Jin brocade through contemporary approaches such as redesigning brocade patterns and creating related sports merchandises, our generation thus has the opportunity to familiarize with this intangible cultural heritage and immerse them into daily usage.
