What are the differences between full and Partial Lockdown PARTIAL LOCKDOWN: During a partial lockdown, activity outside the school would cease. Staff and pupils remain inside with external doors and windows locked, however free movement is normally permitted, depending on circumstances. The school is ready to move to a full lockdown should the situation escalate.
FULL LOCKDOWN: In a full lockdown, pupils would return immediately to their agreed lockdown location, such as the nearest possible classroom or assembly hall, and remain within it. External doors and interior classroom doors would be locked, and windows and blinds drawn. Classroom doors are barricaded with furniture if possible. Pupils would be encouraged to sit quietly and out of sight. A register would be taken and then communicated to an administration centre.
