Pinelands North Primary School in Cape Town, South Africa, is revolutionizing the way pupils learn by implementing a new one-to-one device model for Grades 4-7. This means that from the beginning of the third term this year, pupils in Grades 4-6 will be bringing their own devices to school daily. These innovations are shaping the future of South African education. The implementation of this model means that each pupil will have access to their own device, which they can use to unlock a world of exciting and engaging resources. With this technology at their fingertips, students are empowered to take their learning to the next level and explore the wonders of the world around them like never before. But that's not all. Pinelands North Primary School has also incorporated Coding and Robotics into their curriculum, ensuring that its pupils are equipped with the skills they need to thrive in the digital age. With the ability to code, design, and programme their own Blue Bots, pupils are developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills that will set them up for success in the future.

After the Department of Basic Education’s announcement that all schools should implement Coding and Robotics in 2024, it's clear that the future of South African education is in good hands at Pinelands North Primary School.
