Service 60 Access to your very own IT Service Desk from as little as £20 (ex VAT) each month. For all of those day-to-day printing problems, email queries and general advice and guideance, our UK based Service Desk gives you unlimited access to Microsoft certified technicians.

Service 60 is our most popular package, and ensures that you always have somebody to talk to if you need help. We will try and resolve your problem by remotely controlling your PC and currently we manage to resolve 89% of requests for help using this method. We promise to: • Answer the call personally within 30 seconds • Begin work within 60 mins of a request being made • Offer unlimited remote and telephone based support • If we can’t fix your problem remotely, we guarantee to send a qualified engineer to you the very next day and charge you 20% less than our normal rates for the time spent on site.


Total Care Sometimes the quickest way to solve a problem is face-to-face. Our Total Care package offers the same benefits as Service 60, but with the added benefit that if we need to send an engineer to your premises there will be no charge at all to resolve break-fix issues apart from any parts you need. Total Care also includes routine engineer visits for proactive maintenance, which can be requested by the client throughout the year, after all prevention of a problem is better than a cure. We promise to: • Answer the call personally within 30 seconds • Begin work within 60 mins of a request being made • Offer unlimited remote and telephone based support • Send an engineer to you next business day without charge • Offer reduced labour rates for new hardware installation or project work • Provide a dedicated account manager • Provide proactive maintenance visits • Work with you to define your IT strategy

Data Security

Portable Device Encryption

Protecting sensitive data and personal information on laptops, desktops and removable devices from theft or loss is critical for both business and personal users. Exposure of sensitive data can result in financial loss from legal penalties and fines, not to mention the unquantifiable loss in reputation, brand damage and client trust. The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has recently fined Ealing Council £80,000 and Hounslow Council £70,000, these fines were for breaches of the Data Protection Act after two unencrypted but password protected laptops were stolen. The ICO commented: “There is no evidence to suggest that the data held on the computers has been accessed and no complaints from clients

have been received by the data controllers to date, but there was nevertheless a significant risk to the clients’ privacy” Using industry leading PGP Whole Disk Encryption and Universal Server products, Prism are able to provide a fully managed whole disk encryption service that includes onsite installation to backup your systems, full access to our award winning service desk for technical queries and software updates for the lifetime of the product, benefits that are normally reserved for large corporate entities due to the high initial cost of the infrastructure. Offering Internet access solutions since 2001 has allowed us to witness the monumental developments in this sector first hand. From dial-up modems at the start, to 24Mb/s ADSL2+ now, the technology has improved but the same problem of bad client care and over subscribed services are just as real now as they were then‌. Prism services are different. Our connectivity solutions are delivered by best of breed network carriers which ensures that we can offer the full range of IP based connectivity solutions of the highest technical quality, but all client care and billing is performed internally, the area that lets most of the bigger service providers down, but is arguably the most important. Almost 94% of all Prism Support clients also use Prism Internet services, they do this

IT Disposal Responsible Thinking

Gone are the days where we can simply throw our old machines away without a care, the introduction of the WEEE directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) aims to deliver a more sustainable approach to managing electrical and electronic waste by increasing the volume of material recycled and reducing the amount sent to landfill. In essence it enforces the recovery and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment at the end of its life.
