This pack should hopefully assist you with marketing the show at your venue as there are a number of sample tools and reference information available in the enclosed. However if you feel that you are missing anything please do not hesitate to contact Handshake (see below) and we will do our best to help. A VISION OF ELVIS formed in 2009 and the show has been selling out theatres and concert halls internationally ever since. We have an existing radio advert, which can be used with a tag change if necessary. The tag change will cost ÂŁ100 but obviously if we decide to proceed with a co-promotion with a radio station, then the cost of the new radio ad will be included in their quote. Promotional Idea A VISION OF ELVIS would like to invite a selected amount of local children to appear on stage along side them. This will not only give the budding stars the opportunity of working on their local stage but the chance to appear alongside a talented, award winning cast who have travelled the world and performed in Prestigious Theatres and Venues. We would need between 10 - 20 children aged between 10 – 18 years to accompany the band with 'Cant help falling in Love” and the chorus to ‘Viva Las Vegas’. The children must learn the lyrics previously, as they will be on stage for the entire performance of ‘Cant Help Falling in Love’ and ‘Viva Las Vegas’. (Lyrics are on the next page) As you are aware most performance / drama / dance schools already have a blanket license for the children to perform on stage. However it has been known that some do not so if this is the case with your local school please advise asap as this can be very time consuming for us. If you have a local choir (ideally we prefer to use local schools rather than the larger stage schools) who would like to appear in our show then please advise and we will forward a CD with the arrangement of the songs and the lyrics. They will naturally need to rehearse prior to arriving at the theatre.
The choir would need to arrive at the theatre around 2.5 hours prior to the performance to meet the band and rehearse the song etc. It is preferred that they stay in the theatre after rehearsals, so eating prior to arrival or bringing a packed lunch is advised ready for the performance. The songs will be performed at the end of the first half and the children will therefore be free to either leave at the interval or alternatively stay and watch the second half of the show, if space permits. (Each act is approximately 1 hour long.)
Clothes We would prefer for the children to look quite plain and angelic wearing either school uniform or black trousers or skirts and white t-shirts/shirts, flat black shoes or low heels. Minimal make up and jewellery allowed.
Tickets We usually offer 1 complimentary ticket for parents for 1 of the nights that their child is performing. Please kindly forward a list of the names of the children who will be performing and we will arrange the allocation of their 1 complimentary tickets to be left at the box office for collection on the night for their parents. Please note that there are additional technical requirements should we use a choir.

Biogs… Rob Kingsley - Elvis Rob heard his first Elvis song ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ as a young boy and as he grew up his passion and admiration for Elvis became a huge part of his life. ‘Elvis will always be The Greatest Performer and Entertainer that ever lived. I am very honoured and humbled to be a part of keeping the memory of Elvis Presley alive as I am a true Elvis fan and my shows are dedicated to paying a sincere and respectful tribute to Elvis’. Rob’s show is the only tribute show in the World today to be officially endorsed by Mr Ed Bonja, who was Elvis Presley’s Official Photographer and Road Manager who worked closely with Elvis on more than one thousand concerts from 1970-1977 featuring his very own “The Cadillacs Band” with “The Sweet Sensations”, they bring you a full evening of all the classic hits, from Sun Studios, The Movie Years and The 68 Comeback Special with the finale being the sensational Concert Years. Rob Kingsley is recognised as the “Official European Champion” by winning Europe’s Largest Elvis Tribute Artist competition that many top Elvis tribute artists compete in from all around the world as it is one of the ultimate accolades to win! The Band Nigel Bromley - Drums Playing drums since aged 11, Nigel has been described by several drum magazines over the years as an exciting and entertaining player. Clearly his love of music shines through in his playing which has seen him tour in the UK ,USA, Europe and Australia with a variety of bands ranging from a 12 piece funk-soul revue to several major names such as Grammy winning guitarist Albert Lee, world music award winner Nitin Sawnhey, 80s pop stars Wham!, Country music stars Heather Myles, James House,George Hamilton IV and Crystal Gale to name a few. Endorsed by Mapex drums ,in A Vision Of Elvis Nigel plays a replica vintage Ludwig kit in blue sparkle colours, just like the one used by Evlis's drummer in the TCB band. Having spent last year living and working in Dubai he only recently returned home to England. The most recent recruit to the Cadillacs Band, he has toured in a number of theatre shows here in the UK during the past 8 years.A life long fan of Elvis and his music ,its a real treat to be playing the parts of Ronnie Tutt along with the band as one of his drumming hero's (although Nigel insists he is better looking :-).
Mike Casey - Lead Guitar Mike is a professional musician from Wales, currently living in Leeds. Mike Casey has a mountain of experience in a
variety of bands including styles such as country, rock blues, jazz and Irish music. Mike has also been requested to perform in shows such as “Dracula Spectacular”, “Annie Get Your Gun” and “Our Day Out”. Mike is also the Improvisation tutor in the the prestigious Leeds college of Music. In the show Mike plays a James Burton replica Pink Paisley Telecaster electric guitar.
Steve Hall - Bass Guitar Steve is an exciting and versatile bass guitarist and double bass player born in Sheffield, UK sometime in the last Millennium. His musical grounding began in school and county orchestras and bands, with short tours in Denmark and The Netherlands. He further developed his skills at The Musicians’ Institute, California, USA and in numerous bands and musical projects all over the globe. Recently Steve has been engaged in UK and European theatre productions of ‘Cats’ and ‘We will Rock You’ and is looking forward to a busy year with ‘A Vision Of Elvis.’ In the show Steve plays a Jerry Scheff replica Fender Precision bass guitar.
Jason Warrick - Keyboards Jason has been performing since the age of 13yrs old and has travelled worldwide working with many Professional acts. Some of his credits include artists such as Gareth Gates, Jaki Graham,
Bucks fizz, The Three Degrees and many touring Theatre productions. Having been brought up listening to Elvis by his parents, Jason adds all the exciting energy from those great recordings with hot rockin’ piano and orchestrated sounds from the later Elvis years.
Christine Barns - Backing Vocals Christine started singing at the age of 15 as a member of a local gospel choir moving on swiftly to be a force in her own right. She then went to teach vocals and also set up and managed a choir until she entered the world of musical theatre. In much demand Christine has worked as a session singer with various artists of many musical styles including Soul sensations Stevie Wonder and Ruby Turner. Also with Barry Manilow and West Life. Jazz singer Jonathan Butler and gospel artists Darlene Zshech and Ron Kenoly.
Lorraine Barns - Backing Vocals Lorraine has been working as a backing vocalist for many years and has worked in mainstream pop working for artists such as Sting, Elton John, Stevie Wonder,Rod Stewart, Kelly Rowland and Peter Andre to name a few. I love to sing in any capacity, as long as it’s fun and working with heartfelt people.
