About Us The company was set up by an ex serving soldier who has been in the telecommunications industry for over 15 years and has been responsible for worldwide deployments for international telcom providers and leading manufacturers, they include Alcatel, Adva, BT, BT Global, Ciena, Cisco, C&W, Eircom, Ericsson, Sky, Talk Talk and Virgin Media. Telecommunications and Data Communications industry we know exactly what skills are required, we have devised our courses to enable individuals to get a foot in the door, its no good just having one skill, potential employers want a multi skilled workforce, and a can to attitude. What you will learn You will learn everything you need to know from Cat5e For LAN infrastructure fibre optics installation and testing, network maintenance, moves and changes. Network troubleshooting Cisco certification opens more doors, but again Cisco engineers are expected to know how to do cabling.
The company has two centres in the UK both of which are dedicated to the communications industry, all trainers are industry approved. The main centre is in Crewe, Cheshire has easy access to the road and rail network, Manchester airport is only 30 minutes away. Crewe has a lot to offer, it has some great nights out, for those who like to get out, for more lively nights you can get to Birmingham, Chester and Manchester in just 30 minutes. Other facilities includes Gyms, Bowling, Cinema, quad biking. If you choose the full residential option You will be staying in quality hotels we tend to block book so people on the course can get together in the evening. All meals on the course are included along with light refreshments. You will get 60% hands on training in a real world environment not only will you learn to install, test and terminate fibre and copper cables you will get maximum hands on training, in a friendly environment. If you want to stay behind in the evening and weekends for extra tuition then you can, tutors are on hand during the evening and weekends. Work placements are offered to all individuals, but we cannot guarantee you will always get one close to your home. TNS Europe will introduce you to leading recruitment companies who are searching for suitable candidates with security clearance, we find this works better as they are the experts and have live clients. We will also register on our own database for clients looking for individuals and any future projects we have in house, as we like to be fair to every service
leaver we also post vacancies with the CTP but we much prefer to offer employment to individuals that have trained with us. We will help with your CV and point you in the right direction on job searches, we see hundreds of CV’s weekly and they all look the same, nothing jumps out.

There are hundreds of cabling engineers vacancies, but when you open the full advert, they want more than just cabling, which is why we have devised a package to suit all individuals. A cabling engineer these days need to know how to troubleshoot data networks and local area networks, be able to complete moves and changes, carry out site surveys, be able to read network drawings, troubleshoot broadband, WAN, etc. By combining C&G 3667 & Cisco skills together you will stand out from the rest of the crowd, some job titles are: • • • • • •

C&G 3667-02 Communications Cabling Stand out from the crowd The job market is a tough place, but by having the right skills you can stand out from the crowd, TNS Europe has come up with an excellent package for service leavers. We have combined the C&G communications cabling with Cisco CCENT & CCNA. Network engineers need to know how to do cabling and more employers are looking for Cisco experience, our 4 week course gives you the best of both worlds, its no good just having a cabling qualification, why? Network cabling forms a highly important role for engineers, but employees want more from its staff, these days you need to be to do moves and changes, network troubleshooting, reconfigure network switches, configure IP phones and more, by combining the course into one package, you will be able to do all this and more. Cisco on its own is highly regarded qualification, not only can you configure routers, switches, configure Wan’s, Lan’s, wireless, VPN etc but you can also complete all the cabling and fibre.

C&G 3667-02 is a level 2 course is an industry approved training course the vocational course which is in high demand, The industry is rapidly changing with Fibre optic broadband being deployed, and the government invest in the UK and promising every home faster access to the internet. The course is broken down into four modules 1. Communications principles this module covers all aspects of communication theory including the mathematics, how telephone and broadband networks work, AC/DC power, cable media types, waveforms, plus much more. 2. Fibre Optics internal, this module covers all aspects of installation, testing and maintenance of fibre inside buildings and also covers connectors, fusion splicing, mainly on multi mode fibre. 3. Fibre optics external, this module covers all aspects of installation, testing and maintenance in external network, which is widely used for FTTX, where X can be a home, a business etc, you will build from scratch a network in the training centre using external joints and test the network for faults etc, by using OTDR’s and optical test equipment. 4. Copper cabling this module covers all aspects of local area networks, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Telephony, Coaxial net works and different applications they can be used for, you will build a network from scratch install network switches, and PC’s and troubleshoot the network, you will also learn about voice applications E&D side and telephone extensions. Cisco Training Cisco certification, TNS Europe has partnered with a Cisco learning partner who delivers the official curriculum, so you are guaranteed to have the official courseware run by approved Cisco trainers. Unlike some companies we believe in quality so you are not expected to learn everything before you start the course, if you have no experience in networking start with the Cisco CCENT and progress to the Cisco CCNA. Cisco engineers with cabling experience are in high demand in the industry, Cisco qualifications are sort worldwide. Choosing your career needs to be done carefully, we can only advise on which route to take, we don’t believe in forceful elling, we provide no obligation advice on all training.
