JUDGING THE COMPETITION On Sunday June 10, the Pinto Horse Assocaiation® welcomed youth exhibitors into the Ford Truck Arena, for the 5th Pinto World Championship® Youth Judging Contest in Tulsa, Ok. A total of 14 Senior teams, nine Junior teams, and four Novice individuals entered. Participants judged the following classes; Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure, Ranch Riding, Western Horsemanship, Hunt Seat Equitation, Western Riding, Halter Performance Mares, Halter Performance Geldings, Mule Western Pleasure, Mule Halter, and Miniature Halter Geldings. Here are the results for Senior teams; the Mayes County team took first in Performance and Reasons, with the Texas POA team winning first in Halter, and the Senior Youth Overall Division. For the Junior team results; the Locust Grove team took first in Performance and Reasons, the Adair Two team took first in Halter, and the Adair One team were the Junior Youth Overall Division Champs. For the Novice; Macyn Olson took first in Performance, with Emma Rich taking first in Halter, as well as being the Novice Youth Overall Champ. Winners were awarded; plaques, belt buckles, and Boot Barn gift cards.
This year’s Individual Junior Champ was Seve Blackwell from Locust Grove, and the individual Senior Champ was Tyler Arnold from Mayes County.
