THANKS A MILLION The Million Mile Ring Steward Club honors Ring Stewards that have impacted the horse industry through their dedication in helping the judges and Exhibitors at the horse shows. Ring Stewards must; be nominated by a current Pinto Horse Association速 judge, have been a Ring Steward for 10 or more years, have Ring Stewarded a minimum of 50 horse shows, be living or deceased, be active or retired, show superior industry standards, and demonstrate extraordinary contributions to the judges and horse shows they work. As a Ring Steward, they scribe for judges, direct horses, and manage the arena to keep a safe environment. This year we are proud to honor three Ring Stewards who have been inducted into the Million Mile Ring Stewards Club; Fral Lelli, Rick Stevens, and Bill Wright. Fral Lelli is originally from Los Angeles, CA, and
is a previous Paint horse exhibitor. Lelli has been a carded judge for the past 35 years, but now focuses on being a Ring Steward. In addition, she is the President of High Desert Pinto Horse Association. Lelli has 32 years of service at the Veterans Administration. Rick Stevens, a 40-year veteran of the Quarter Horse Congress, is originally a farrier by trade. Stevens has been a Ring Steward for numerous shows within PtHA速, AQHA, APHA, NSBA, NRHA, and the Arizona Sun Circuit. Stevens says he would like to thank the Pinto family for this award. Bill Wright always dreamed of being an equestrian or cowboy. So he made his way into the horse world and has been a Ring Steward since 1990. Wright has mentored about 50 individuals into becoming Ring Stewards and Scribes, and works many shows through PtHA速, AQHA, APHA, and ABRA. The PtHA速 would like to again congratulate Fral Lelli, Rick Stevens, and Bill Wright for all of their hard work and dedication to the association.
